After years of struggling with this department I eventually thought my struggle today, when I was deeply dissappointed again. My paperwork according to Mr Majova is not on the system. This is after I submitted it myself and was dated last year by labour department. This is the third time that Mr Majova does not have a proper way of talking to me. He is very rude, disrespectful and speaks loud in front of other clients. My personal business is screamed in front of everyone. I feel very aggrieved that my claim cannot be finalized. There is always an new excuse or paperwork that is not legible according to Mr Majova on the system. While I got copies of the exact documentationand it's clearly legible.
Today I am very disappointed and hurt as a mother that my daughter was refused to have her blood taken from Ampath Mercantile. My daughter called me from work as she is not feeling well, and is in pain. I took her to our Gp which prescribed bloods to be taken. She was diagnosed with Antiphospholipid Syndrome a few years ago. So her inr bloods have to be checked regularly as she is on chronic Warfarin. The bloods determine how she should take the Warfarin every day to prevent blood clots to form. We waited for over an hour as the sister was alone and needed some guidance regarding which form to complete. As she could not reach the inr clinic sisters she refused to take the blood. I even asked her how we gonna know how my daughter must take her pills from tonight. Never in my nursing career have I ever come across a situation where a patient was refused to take her bloods. I am very hurt. As it is public holiday we have to wait for Tuesday to take her bloods. And anything can happen to her
I sent initial query on 20th of January still Dischem Health cannot answer my queries. They changed initial policy to what suits them.,but I got copies of initial documents sent to me on 6th of July 2022.Im really disappointed to see that a life means nothing to these human beings. Private hospital is sending me emails for the bills and they refuse to pay it. Since my Dad was active on 1st August 2022 he never used no benefits at all. This is the first claim and the ignore my emails and telephone calls. This is unacceptable behavior.
DISCHEM HEALTH INSURANCE FRAUDSTERS I just felt that I had to publish this to share how I feel. I took this Dischem health plan for my Dad, in case he needs to be hospitalised and he needed new spectacles and dentures. This Health plan gave all these benefits, but refused to pay for his spectacles. He eventually canceled the specs because specsavers said Dischem health don't give payment. I took this Health plan in July 2022. Unfortunately 2mths later my Dad was diagnosed with cancer. We did not expect this... He deteriorated fast, but continued with treatment at a government hospital. The 1st January 2023 my Dad got really ill and needed to be admitted. I took him to a private hospital. Dischem health is now refusing to pay for the 5 days he spent in hospital. He was discharged although he was still ill, and Dischem health insurance refused to pay for a CT scan he needed. He was admitted at a government hospital the same day he was discharged with severe pain in left arm, where we struggled to get my Dad the care he needed. He died the next day. I feel if Dischem health supported us and given him funds to remain in hospital... my Dad could have been alive today. So please don't use Dischem Health insurance. I got copies of initial contract and benefits. They are changing all this now that they heard my Dad passed away... I feel that I need to publish this review to warn people of this fraudulent insurance company. They don't have any respect or dignity handling their clients that suffered a huge loss of a Father. From the beginning of starting the claim process, when my father passed on it was a total mess and waste of our time and money. First they gave us the wrong form to complete. After we sent the claim via email, we were told it's the incorrect form. Already time was wasted. Then we submitted the correct form. I sent Sefako an email stating that my Dad's last wish was to be buried as soon as possible. He never even responded. We had to borrow money from other people to bury my on Friday 13 January 2023. Never heard of Sefako again.... Called customer care yesterday Spoke to Prince and he asked us to resubmit claim forms,we did.... So what did Sefako do???forms was not even on the system. Calling customer care to find answers today... They waste my money by disconnecting my calls continues. I asked to speak to a manager, Prince says no manager. This is the worse service I got.... Ppl please if you care for your loved ones, find another insurance. I don't think we deserve to be treated like trash when we pay our policies on time.
I am an employee at Livingstone Hospital that got injured on duty in 2018, and ha a Laminectomy. No lighter duties was offered even though the letter was given by my Neuro surgeon. I continued to work in medical ward and injured myself more. This hospital is refusing to take responsibility for messing up my life as well as my daughters. Who is now on ant depressants. This month without a warning the refuse to pay my salary. How am I suppose to provide for my family if I can't even walk.
They allow deductions from my accounts and when I call I can't get through, They know when I pay because my money is paid Into their Acc. But thay make failed debits and charge me 170 rand for a 40 rand debit. They don't call to change dates, and when I call they waste my airtime.
