I paid for my January 2019 subscription end of December 2018 and then on the 15th of January 2019 paid the yearly subscription offer where you get one month free and was told that the next payment would only be due in February 2020. I now got a message that the subscription is due today. When I phoned them, I got this idiot on the other side telling me that it is for a 12 month period and that from January it is up to December. More I am trying to tell him that I had already paid for January and that the bulk payment was made in January to start the subscription in February the more he keeps on hammering on January payment. They have now disconnected the service which I have fully paid for up to end of January. They are a bunch of money grabbing thieves and you need to watch out for them. With all the rubbish they broadcast and all the repeats it is not worth the amount the charge either. Rather go with Netflix
Originally got a dominator when I had my pool built, but did not like it at all. Had them exchange it for the kreepy krawly pro. After only six months it suddenly stopped working and I noticed that the weight holder had totally broken in three different places. It has been in the pool all the time and I don't have children or anyone who play around with the machine. Cannot understand how after just 6 months it just broke apart. I contacted them and they told me that I would need to purchase a replacement which is well over a thousand rand. The machine is supposed to have a 1 year guarantee, but this is not mentioned at all. For such a high priced item, you would expect it to last at least for the guarantee period. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Had a Baracuda machine at my previous residence and it gave me excellent service for more than 5 years. The quality of the Kreepy Krauly is of a very inferior, substandard manufacture with the fitting and most of the machine made of very thin, low quality plastic. How they can charge over a thousand rand for a small plastic fitting, that does not even have any mechanisms or anything is a total rip off. If you want to replace the whole head of the machine it costs half of the price that they want to charge for that small part. They do not honour their guarantee on any of their products. WILL NEVER USE ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS AGAIN. STEER CLEAR FROM ANY KREEPY KRAULY PRODUCT
Game's "Mainstays" in house brand is the worst quality products you can buy. Bought a concertina door from Game in Klerksdorp and within two weeks the panels started separating and ripping apart. Eventually all that I had were strips hanging in my door opening. It has started tearing all over the plastic fabric at the bottom and is just terrible quality. Have had to stick all the panels together with duct tape so that I can get the door to close to have some privacy. Will NEVER buy any Game "in house" brands ever again. Total waste of money
WHY DOES HP NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPLAINTS EMAIL ADDRESS? ALL THEY HAVE ARE PHONE NUMBERS THAT TAKE FOR EVER TO BE ANSWERED AND WHEN ANSWERED YOU ARE REDIRECTED FROM ONE SECTION TO THE NEXT. These people should be avoided as they are ****phobic and discriminate against gay people. Place posts on Facebook stating "FOK GAYS" and when confronted, laugh about it and make out as if it is a huge joke. It is against the law to discriminate against people re ***ual orientation, but they seem to think that the law does not apply to them.
Bought a HP 2620 printer from House and Home. When I tried to use it a week later, it would not feed the paper. Took it back to House and Home a couple of days later and was told they could not replace it and that it needed to be returned to HP for assessment. Was warned this could take anything up to 3 months when I enquired. Bought the printer as I need it to print invoices, quotations and statements for my business. Managed to get it to print by manually feeding the pages by hand into the printer. It printed about 4 invoices and then suddenly the black on the page faded and then just stopped. Did all the maintenance procedures, but it would not print. The ink levels showed almost full. This was about 3 days after I used it for the first time. Contacted House and Home and was told once again that I needed to bring it in so it could be sent away for assessment. I live almost 60km from House and Home and the cost of running up and down between them all the time would not warrant the purchase price of the printer. Bought a new Epson printer and it has been working 100% for almost 4 months now, which the same original cartridges that it was supplied with. Will NEVER buy any HP product again and will not recommend it to anyone. Printer does not function like it should and ink supplied is dry within 3 days, while still indicating that the cartridges are full. You will be very disappointed if you bought one of their products.
Biggest bunch of thieves and rogues!! Had direct Eskom connection on my farm in Meyerton. Sold the farm and applied for disconnection of service on 26 November 2018. Received a confirmation email from them with a attached form that I had to complete with forwarding details and refund banking details for the deposit. I completed the form and forwarded to them. Got a confirmation email stating they had received it and that it would be 6 to 8 weeks for the refund to be done as soon as it went through the processes. By February 2019 I still had no response except that I kept on getting statements showing a credit balance. Contacted them again, and once again they asked for forms to be completed, plus statements from the bank and a bunch of other information, which I did and forwarded to them. Once again was sent a reply that it would take 6 - 8 weeks. By then it was already 3 months since the service was discontinued. In March I once again sent them a email and was sent another "form letter". It is now already 15 April and once again I have sent them emails from the beginning of this month, which I did not even get a response. Sent them another this morning and tried to phone them as well but after holding on for more than a hour ran out of airtime. Fed up. If I owed them money, they would hound me for it expecting it to be paid immediately. Now that they owe me money, it is now already going on 5 months that I have to wait, with no payment in the foreseeable future!! It is time that Eskom gets opposition as with them being the sole supplier in South Africa, they think they can make and break as they feel fit. If it is not load shedding it is stealing from clients. NOT ON!!
Definitely a company to steer clear of. The worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Hired them to install palisades at my property in Hartbeesfontein, paid the deposit on the 19th of November and paid the balance fully on the 23rd of November. Requested that it had to be finished by the 26th. Today is already the 8th of December and all that has been done is that the pillars have been planted, and also skew and not even correctly spaced! Every time you contact them, if you can get hold of them there is always 1000 excuses but the job is still not done. Most of the time they just don't bother answering their phones and when they do, their manager, Jan, is rude and obnoxious and slams the phone in your ear. I have requested seeing that they have broken the contract several times, that they refund me and remove the stuff they have left lying all over my property. I get shouted at and threatened by Jan when I request that. Keeps on telling me to get my lawyer to phone him and slams the phone down. I am so frustrated and angry that I don't know what to do anymore. If I had known that such a "reputable" company would do something like this, I would never had dealt with them Eventually after many threats was contacted by a guy called Marco, who claimed he was going to "pay out of his own pocket" for a contractor to finish the job. EXUSE ME!! Out of his own pocket!! I paid in FULL a small fortune for a service I am not receiving and was told that it could have been done a lot cheaper and a lot faster by several people in the area! I organised a contractor that would be able to help, who Marco promised to pay a deposit to, that was also not done. Meanwhile the job is still standing and I still do not have palisades!!
Had Jan le Roux from KJC IT in Klerksdorp ( ********** ) come to install my DSTV. He was extremely prompt and gave excellent service, going beyond the call of duty. The install was quite complicated and should have been a quick install, but he was extra thorough and did a extremely neat job. His pricing was also very reasonable. After getting about 5 quotes, he was a lot more reasonable than any of the other competitors. Also got a company to install palisades for me, who did not complete the job and gave me a major runaround. Jan came and completed the job for me, which was brilliant. Wish there was more contractors around that give the same quality service and dedication that he does. Thank you Jan. You are a star
Wanted to open a Money Account Banking account with them. My elderly mother, who lives with me, who I take care of, has accounts with them and my cellphone was given up as contact number as she does not have her own phone. They refuse to open a account for me, unless I change my cell phone number, which is a contract number that I have had for over 15 years!! I think this is ridiculous! Why should I have the inconvenience of having to pay to have my phone number changed, then having to advise at least 200 people of my number change, having to contact several businesses of my change of number, just so they can take my money? Would have thought they would be just to pleased that someone wanted to invest with them
