I ordered a cake, flowers and a gift for delivery before 3pm. I was told the driver was in the are at 1pm - which was a blatant lie. I received the flowers just before 5pm and the CAKE NEVER ARRIVED. At 8pm the evening - yes 8PM, after guests had already left, they wanted to deliver the cake FIVE HOURS LATER. I told them I no longer need a cake 5 hours late, the Red Velvet Cake which was R739.90 and they want to deduct a R89.95 delivery fee and charge me 50% of the cake cost - which is utterly ridiculous. As a long standing client, I would expect a full refund and apology - I am getting serious flack and still being billed. The "we couldn't care less" attitude of their call centre agents and everyone I spoke to, is infuriating. Disgusted with the service and will never use them again!!!
I called Rapid Locksmiths on the 17th September 2021 for a lock to be replaced on my gate and for a nightlatch to be affixed to my front door. The call out fee was R195, which I agreed to upfront. They then placed a new lock on the gate and affixed a Bird night latch to my front door. They then gave me a bill of R4,310 payable immediately, after they claimed 20% discount! Which means their original cost was R 5,387.50 for fitting 2 locks!!! For the back door I used a different locksmith who fitted an Xpanda gate and Yale lock for just over half the price of these guys (including the cost of the gate and lock). Bottom line, do not use Rapid Locksmiths, you in for a Rapid Rip-off!!!
From the very first appointment, the assessor that went beyond the call of duty, he not only checked the damaged part of the car, looked all around and noticed that my tyre had a bump (I had hit a pothole and never noticed it). I have since replaced the tyre, thank you! The repairs went smoothly, I appreciated the calls and emails to keep me in the loop and after care service was amazing, thank you Nadine and Sophia. Repairs were done well and with all the polishing and cleaning, I felt as though I was collecting a brand-new car off the showroom floor. Having an accident damaged car is a stressful experience, your excellent service certainly helped to alleviate that, thank you.
I am not happy at all with the service on this order - I received it yesterday after following up twice. The dispatch department agreed to delivery on Thursday 10 December. I stayed home the whole day and didn't go into work, as they were unable to advise delivery time for morning or the afternoon. When I called to follow up at 3pm, they said delivery would deliver between 5pm and 6pm. Thanks for my delivery which was only completed at 8:19pm!!! I was waiting the entire day from 9am in the morning. This is ridiculous - when I told the driver it was too late, I was told - if you send us away now you will have to pay for another delivery. Is this really how you treat paying customers? It's ridiculous firstly that they cannot advise time for either morning or afternoon and then to be threatened with an additional delivery charge after keeping me waiting the entire day and inconveniencing me in the evening. Absolutely disgusted by the service!!!
I would definitely recommend Russell Kaplan Auctioneers for all antiques, furniture and household goods. They handled the goods, prepared for auction and paid me when they said they would. I was concerned dealing with auctioneers for the first time. They were professional at all times, their honesty and integrity is refreshing. Than you Jakki and Russell.
I was looking for a dressmaker and got the number for Charmaine from a fabric store, her clothing label name is Yana Yana. We met and I gave her all my fabrics end July 2017, I made a payment in good faith of R4,500 for the various tops I wanted made (in excess of 10). Week after week she kept cancelling and postponing my appointment. By October I had three tops made (all too big and none to my measurements), I requested the fabrics back and a refund. I have had to give all three of those tops away. Tops with her existing design were R250 each. She said that she would refund me after I collected the fabrics and was busy 'reconciling' the account. I have had that excuse since October 2017, by December 2017 she had stopped taking my calls and ignoring all messages sent through. Don't use this dressmaker as the same thing may end up happening to you! I have had my clothing made by another dressmaker and it was all completed within two weeks.
I received a call this morning (Monday, 22 June 2015) from Lezaan, which I thought was rather invasive. <br> <br> I was asked about my marital status, my work telephone number, home telephone number, my email address and my ID number - which is when I got upset! <br> As well, as wait for it, my income after tax!!! I said that I don't feel comfortable answering those questions. <br> She asked me which income bracket I fall into and started mentioning figures. My guess is that they sell - ridiculously overpriced beauty products? <br> <br> The only beauty related question was which beauty products I use at the moment. <br> <br> I am upset about the call, the invasion of privacy and persistence in getting info out of me even after I mentioned I was not disclosing my ID number or income. <br> <br> I would definitely not use or even try their products just as a result of this call. <br>
