I drove to this KFC branch tonight with my wife and my two year old daughter to buy food via the drive through and the service we received was absolutely terrible. I wanted to order 2 separate meals with two separate payments and was told it's not possible, in a polite manner I advised the teller that it is possible as I do it all the time, they asked us to drive to the window where we were supposed to make payment and I was told the same thing than I asked for the manager who ended up shutting the window and asking the cars behind me to reverse. We waited patiently for about 10 minutes with no help and ended up driving to KFC Terenure where we were assisted with our order and guess what... it wasn't an issue to make 2 separate payments as usual. I'm so disgusted and I hope upper level management is aware of the poor service in that branch.
This is the second review i am writing about Vodacom Mall of Africa, I am owed a refund of over a thousand rand after making a DSTV payment in the store following the direction of the branch consultant. The branch Manager by the name of Moeketsi is very rude and arrogant, he has been sending me from piller to post instead of assisting me with something that he should be able to do in a day, he stood up and walked out of the branch and told me he has knocked off after addressing me by name as if we are friends, its been 2 months since i have been waiting for a refund.
I went to vodacom store Mall of Africa on the 30th of November 2023 to pay my DSTV account, their Machine processed the first payment and came back with an error and i made a second payment of which also did the same thing, money was taken from my account as confirmed by my bank statement which i submitted but my DSTV was not paid, i have been struggling for weeks to get my refund from both the branch and the store manager, after several calls i was told that they did not receive the money and i should clear it with my bank, the staff is rude, slow to assist and if the person in charge of the query is not at work the others are unable to assist.
Experienced bad service from a man who identified himself as Rowana from KFC Rivonia, I went to the branch to order food from the drive through, asked for a Colonel Burger meal with a cup fanta, after a had paid and drove to the collections window i discovered that the lady had made a mistake by noting my order as a burger and a drink only with no chips. I asked for my chips and the ladies that were helping me called the manager with the above name who faild to identify himself to me and made me wait for almost 10 minutes before resolving my query, he refused to give me my change of which he eventually did after i saw that i was not prepared to leave without it. This was the poorest service i have ever experienced from that branch and it sad because i buy food at that branch on a weekly basis.
Today I bought hot pot rice and was told by a lady named Dzunani Makhamisi that I "have to" ask for a s**** or fork. She has a bad attitude and doesn't know how to speak to customers especially a regular customer. It should be common sense that if I order rice I would probably need cutlery?
The staff and owner of the place were amazing, I applied for a Golf GTI and was not approved this time around but they gave me tips as to what I need to do to boost my credit score, hopefully in a few months time I can buy a vehicle from them
Settled my account with them in 2020 August and they promised to send an update to the credit bureau, now two years later I need to apply for finance and am declined as it shows I owe them R500
I have owed African bank since 2013, my loan with them fell into arrears due to my being in between jobs but i had always made it a point that i make an arrangement and pay even the minimum. The problem now is i wish to settle my account with them and have requested a discount on the settlement due to my financial difficulties and over commitments but i am told by the call centre agents that i dont qualify for a discount, i asked the lady to escalate my request and she blatantly refused. I feel like this is unfair especially considering the fact that they have my payment history and can see that i have tried my best to pay, it feels like they just want to choke me to death, its not nice owing a personal loan for this long. What hurts the most is that they make you hold the line for so long eventually the agents dont even help you, in stead they hang up the phone, i went to a branch and was given the same number to call, so frustrating.
