The deceased's father came to us to find find out about the process of the estate. That was it, please note that his ex-wife was supposed to obtain appointment as executor. Neither we or the other family has something to do with this estate, but IDA Law keep on sending us mails after we informed them to stop as it is not our estate. This is their mail : We have reported the estate of the late Phillippus Marais Ref: 62424558693 to the Master's Office. However, no executor has been appointed yet. ESTATE LATE LJ VAN DER WALT On 22 September 2025 we supp**** all information for accounts to be closed, funds to be transferred to the estate late bank account. We also need bank balances as at date of death, statements reflecting zero balances and confirmation of closure. To date no feedback received. We submitted all documents for closure of the deceased's bank accounts on 18 August 2025. On 17 September we got the first feedback that the process will begin. Since then no feedback this is ridiculous, we need the certificate of balances, transfer of the funds to be done to the estate late bank account and statement from date of death till closure reflecting zero balances. This is the worst feedback from any bank so far.
We requested closure of bank accounts of the deceased on 18th August 2025. Additional information was requested from Absa on 11 September 2025. To date the funds is still not paid into the estate late bank account of JA Smith as requested. More than a month later.
We requested accounts to be closed on 17th September and received feedback on the 18th with only the statements. Since then the funds is still not paid into the estate late JA Smith as requested.
Cellphone contract is expiring end September 2025, we were advised to dial 082 135 to cancel, this was done twice and we received feedback that we will receive a SMS of email confirming the cancellation. It is almost month end and still did not receive confirmation. This is how Vodacom **** customer because you request to cancel and they refuse feedback then after the end of the month you are again laible for the contract even if you did not want to upgrade and precisely requested cancellation
Our client passed away and on 14 August we forwarded all documents for closue and mail below : Good Day We refer to attachment. Please close all accounts and transfer funds to estate late bank account. Also supply us with COB, , bank statements from date of death and bank statements reflecting zero balances. To date no feedback received and we urgently need the L & D account to be finalised and submitted to the Master.
