I placed an order on 05 April 2025 for an Optoma 80 Inch 16:9 Fixed Frame Projector Screen (Order #99883). To date, I have not received any update, shipping confirmation, and or delivery of the item: Frankly, the lack of communication is unacceptable. I need to use the item this weekend, hence I made the purchase almost 20 days ago and it’s still not delivered. Called the company umpteenth times and still no resolution. Spoke to Chad a couple of times and De Wet, still no resolution to date. I doubt I will receive the item.

Registered a death claim in the 31st of January, sent the notice of death and the death certificate the following day and still to date, there is no payout and claim is still pending assessment. Appalling service from a “reputable” brand. I’m moving all my business, there is not peace of mind at FNB Life. I received a call yesterday morning advising me that the claim would be finalised before close of business but it wasn’t. The never cease to always under deliver. FI5148548 - ref: 171941689
I’ve been without service for a week now. Technicians came to reinstall today and they did a cross patch and connected my fibre to the wrong house. Another week will go by without help from Vumatel or Home Connect, I’ve never received such terrible service in my entire existence. Both companies are bad!
My service has been down for over a week, they’re struggling with basic service and will give unending empty promises. It’s not worth the money I pay for it. Theyre consultants have an attitude and don’t care for cancellations either. They can’t send a technician to fix my fibre and I’ve already paid for that external service provider to fix the fibre. Useless company, I’m deforest switching.

I just got a call from Hydraulics’s Sandton and was told that my lay-bye has expired and the funds will be forfeited (all of the funds) and I will get nothing. I don’t want a refund but the law surely can not condone such. I also sent the matter to you and the consumer goods ombud for help. I spoke to Thando at the store who verified that I will get nothing and I will deal with the lawyers.
Ordered an additional contract, changed the order and a week later they send the wrong phone. I waited for the delivery and I’m not office bound. Wasted half of my day for nothing.
Wow! I don’t have a thousand words to describe the service I received Shamanie. It was exceptional and I’m a satisfied customer with a reduction of 25% percent in premiums. Great retention team.
