I have been a member with Bonitas for a few years. The 1st of August 2023 they deducted an amount (which is not the full monthly amount) .... and I have not received any correspondence on this short collection amount .... and yesterday I was informed that the membership has been suspended. So now we are without medical cover for how long I don't know. Not sure why we have to suffer if they short deducted (there was more than enough money in the account).
Bad service no matter on which plan you are - even on the top plans ... you pay but receive no service. One problem after the other more and more money .... You can also not talk to an agent as they have changed their system ... so you talk to yet another robot. They also have this Back and Neck Program but it would not help to have the problem sorted as it is not muscle related yet it is for a fusion.
Applied for a loan to consolidate debt ... waiting 7 working days for a reply. Phoning does not help they just say it has been escalated.
How can anybody have their credit status improved in SA if the banks don't update the payment history on the systems after numerous requests and enquiries.

I have been paying my debt (debit orders going off) and yet they are not improving my credit rating ..... I'm in need of buying a vehicle but with a bad rating I can not get finance.
We went to Casa Bella for supper last night (12th July 2022). When I got the bill I requested them to give me the 10% discount on presentation of my Silverstar Casino card as per their advertising when you enter their doors ... So the guy gave it back to me and I could not really see as the lighting was very dark. I though he had deducted the 10% .... only to realize when I got home and had a look at the slip that the 10% was never deducted. I had paid a 10% tip on top of this.
Tried to get hold of a letter/statement to confirm that I do not owe them any money. Can not get hold of them and they are not replying to any e-mails.
I want to backdate my termination letter to end the current membership end of Nov 2021. I want to go back on the medical aid on a cheaper plan starting from 1st Feb 2022. They have not really being very helpful. Would they rather prefer loosing my business or assist me.
