I’ve genuinely had a great experience with Drive throughout my subscription, and I’ve always appreciated the service. Unfortunately, things became difficult when I needed to return the car due to affordability. I’ve repeatedly asked the finance department to cancel the DebiCheck mandate on my account, but despite my efforts, nothing has been done. Drive is still attempting to debit my account, and although the debits don’t go through because the amount exceeds my balance, my bank charges me R115 for every failed debit — which is becoming very costly. Drive is truly a good subscription company, but this experience has been disappointing. I believe the service would be even better if issues like this were handled more efficiently.
Why was my previous review removed because it was nothing but the truth? These people want me to pay for service not rendered they switched off their car on the 24th of December and they expect me to pay R14000 plus from the 20th of December to the 20th of January while the vehicle is with them and have not made use of it from the 24th of December so what exactly am i paying for if they have the car with them? now they are threatning to inform my employer for what for trying to rob me? go ahead you must think i dont know my right i'm well aware of my consumer and human right i did go to school.
No matter how desparate you are dont get into contactual agreement with this company they are bunch of ****** with 0 business ethics, they will try by all means to ***** every cent you have their stuff is *********** it is an extreme sport to deal with them you would swear they dont even have Grade R as level of education, rather go for traditional finance or if you dont qualify use the service called Flexclub, you wont regret.
I would like to warn everyone out there desperate for a car do not go to we rent cars they are ****mers, i paid R24000 deposit and from day 1 the car was making a lot of noise driving like it was dragging s**** metals and i reported this issue, they send me to a service provider to get a full report and they were advised the issue was the brake pads which were finished and the brake discs and also the alternator belt hence the loud noise from the car, the WRC advised i'm liable for the full repair cost as these are wear and tear issues, what nonsense is that really?
Terrible service from Roman’s Pizza bankcity, I placed an order on the app then sent my sim for collection, they didn’t give him the order instead they made him another pizza, when I placed the second one they went and charged him for the 1st and 2nd order which is very stupid what am I supposed to do with so many Pizzas? Their phone operator is terrible and rude not willing to listen to customers, never again you lost a loyal customer.
Dealing with finance of drive is a nightmare the only language they understand is to recover, i had a situation with this months debit order where they tried to debit with extra R2000 for excess km's which i was not made aware of and the debit didnt go through, then one of my debits went through 3x which made me not to have a full amount for my debit withdrive i emailed them immediately and made aware of this issue and asked if i can EFT R12000 i will pay the rest once i sort out the issue with the company that debited me 3x they aggreed a day later i receive an email stating the vehicle will be switched off i dont pay the remaining R1200 i emailed them again and they told me they can give me until the 10th today i asked them if they can give me until Sunday the 19th no they refuse they want to recover the vehicle today for a balance of R1200 this is really unfair.
Accounts department is the worst, i was not made aware debit orders are no longer going through from my account, they suddenly showed up recently telling me my account is in arrears for R14000 i checked with my bank and i saw debit order were not going through from October last year, i acknowledged the arrears and asked for payment arrangement where i will be making extra R1500 payments together with monthly fees and i promise by August my account will be up to date, they refused and told me they demand R6500 from the end of March, where will i get that amount? you careless about the parents of your scholars i'm very disappointed.
I took a vehicle for exchange because it had reached 15000 km and i was given another vehicle and not the TSI i was driving, Avis advised there was a min scratch on the vehicle, now i paid my subcription R10 000 and i was again not made aware about the extra maintanance charge which is R2700 mind you i'm on leave with no access to my emails, they dont call or anything, they have sent my vehicle to recoveries for R2700 on top of the R10 000 i paid, i tried to explain to them i will pay the remaining R2700 together with my next substription fee no they dont care about that they want to recover the vehicle.
African bank is the worst they are stealing money from Credit cards and give us lame excuses about money we received that we were not supposed to get, i'm closing my credit card i cant deal with your immature consultants, they claim i received money from African Bank which does not even reflect on my statement, why is my Credit card on negative balance? i pay it every month and deposit more funds to it but now it is blocked and on negative Balance, African bank is worse than a loanshark i regret the day i decided to become their client.
I was hijacked and robbed all of my money and i asked the credit controller if i can pay my rent 19 days late, and she is not interested she said i must pay and if not paid by the 7th they will send debt collectors and i will be liable for debt collectors fees, i mean i was robbed and i'm just asking for 2 weeks to pay my rent, is indluplace even humans?
