Authorization decisions for spines highly questionable. Been a member since around 2007. Had terrific pain - new - called various specialists - who advised me to go to casualty - as none could see me urgently. Fedhealth declined an MRI - so no accurate diagnosis could be made and no treatment given either. Fedhealth Authorizations, I believe, requested physio reports of the Casualty GP. And blood tests. I wasn’t informed of these requests. Went home. Fedhealth say they emailed me. I never received any email. No detail in records in Family Room. The communication goes from bad to worse. Nothing is clear and sitting in a hospital bed from Friday to Monday when staff get back to work is unaffordable. So, who cares about pain, accurate diagnosis, and treatment?. And how come Casualty staff tell me physio reports are required but this is not communicated to me? Anyway Doctors refuse to waste time with Medical Aids, and as I said, a Physio report before a diagnosis is a first. Usually it’s the other way around?
Avoid. Momentum Assessor. If they assess you are in trouble. The fail to assess pot hole damage accurately but find 1000 microscopic faults which are hardly visible to the naked eye. Run a mile.
Avoid. At all costs. A Momentum Assessor. The main reason for the assessment is overlooked but they find another 1000 microscopic faults to report on??!!! Cosy!
My recommendation - avoid. At all costs. Save yourselves the aggravation.
Not recommended at all. The most negative experience yet in a doctor's practice - where after 3 bottles of eye drops - almost 2 months later - and eyes sore - mostly from all the medication - the medical practitioner dealing with me vented her frustration and anger. My questions went unanswered despite my concern - as did my request to sidestep an uncomfortable procedure for the 3rd time in less than 2 months. Needless to say I went elsewhere - and had the same procedure with sophisticated equipment - which was not uncomfortable at all! Medication was also adjusted. A command and control approach - with - you do as I say - even when medication has negative side effects - is - somewhat of a concern.
Soddy, inferior, error prone non services. Massive billing errors.
Shoddy service deluxe. Overcharges, incorrect billing, kept holding on the phone to accounts for 11 minutes, no answer, tried calling the Wilgeheuval Practice. The receptionist is on holliday - she could not find the practice manager. With this letharly imagine if you have an emergency?
Wilgeheuval Hospital. Avoid XRAYS. The service is shoddy - they overcharge - make errors on accounts - Admin keeps one holding for 11 minutes - after they bill incorrectly - and then try phoning reception - they refuse to assist - they cannot even listen - and refuse to transfer one to the practice manager. What a shoddy practice - and all to sort out 2 of their billing errors. Can they not count? Do they not understadn customer service? Avoid like the plague!
Avoid. Excessive overcharges. No feed back / lack of customer service. Doubled my car premiums for hitting a pot hole. R7800 assessed, total charges R24,000. Repairs for so called hail damage, R1100 assessed, total charge R8049. Car hire had to return 3 times to find the key.
