Century City branch is INCREDIBLE! If you're looking for a close to five star experience we highly recommend. From the venue to the food and most of all the staff. Did online booking, took my money from my bank, online ster kinekor website then says unsuccessful payment and won't give me my tickets. Doesn't give my money back info my bank app, and the number on the website to call says doesn't exist. ***?!
HOW HARD IS IT TO UPDATE THE ADDRESS FOR A CONTRACT CUSTOMER?!
I moved and phoned the Vodacom call centre to update my address about a month ago Agent told me it'll only show on my new invoice Get the invoice this month Old address reflecting I continually just get bad service with Vodacom agents and it's happened so many times I don't even know why I'm surprised anymore Please for the love of bunny rabbits can the company setup something on the app where we can update personal details?
I paid up my account and would like it closed. How do I go about this please?
Valentine's Day this year Had to order like 200 box meals for work Adderly street manager on duty around seven thirty in the morning - can't remember her name - best service ever. They didn't have enough of some of the items to go into the box meal. She organized help from some surrounding branches. Was blown away by her going the extra mile for us. You made everyone's day because of that. Sorry it took me so long to recognize you on this platform.
I sent an email through regarding an online order which I was following up on the delivery there of, got a phone call and the chap phoning from your Cape Town branch (can't remember his name) made my day. Thanks so much for the feedback and cracking a joke. Order number is 139287. Just wanted to share this great unexpected experience.
Called 3 Oct 2024 to cancel my number 0723464238 spoke to Michell Velile at 16h12 for 28 mins Was told he couldn't cancel it then and I had to call back a month before it ended which is Feb 2025 He made a whole bunch of promises as well that he didn't follow through with but all I want is it cancelled for end Feb 2025. I called right now spoke to the most useless agent Ayanda Mcibi and she's not able to help me. Honestly - just don't use Vodacom - great network but the staff they employ have no idea what the word service means.
Walk to collect item. As I leave, I open the box - item in box wasn't even close to what I ordered. Immediately turn around and take it back. Request assistance - get told to log return on app which we do. She suggests I ask for a refund as can't be sure my item will be in stock. I ask will I get credited the collection fee as well (as all this isn't my fault) Get told NO So change to request my original item be sent instead of a refund - (obviously different wording in the app) Lady won't take the box as return isn't reflecting on her system even though she just handed the wrong item to me So your company expected me to leave and then come back again when the system updated even though it was immediately identified as being wrong item - see how further inconveniencing me is all stacking up? I refuse to leave with the box and request to speak to a manager Warren parrots the same thing - warehouse messed up - and explains they can't take responsibility for the item until it reflects as a return So I ask then please change it so takealot must come to me to fetch it from me instead Don't think that could be done either so he said he'd keep it on his desk and log for me when the system updated Could be as he asked where I work and I work with someone he knows so to me this came across as a favor which I'm grateful for but besides that what if it happens to someone else? If I'd left and come back an hour later I can understand it could look like I swopped the item but the wrong item was sealed with the sticker on and I had just turned around. If there's camera footage you can see me start opening the box as I walk out and a few seconds later walk back in So there needs to be something in place for instances like this Mind you this is the first time this has ever happened to me with takealot so I really expected a company like yours to have better standards and options in place PS not a single person even said sorry. Joh come on guys I know mistakes happen but there's a way of interacting with customers to try and turn the bad experience around at least
My rental agency sent this business to conduct repairs to the flat we stay in and a personal item went missing during the time they were here. After they left and we realized the item was missing we checked every where it could be, and reached out to the contractors but they said they didn't have it either. Never had anything go missing before, so don't feel comfortable having them conduct business while we stay here ever again. I'm posting this so if anyone else ever has them do business on site to make sure the same thing doesn't happen to them. They also used my bucket with potting soil in as a trash can so learn from my mistake, do a thorough inventory before they start work and before they leave, and also do a quick walk through of where to find trash cans, or dispose of refuse.
