Riaan was extremely professional and on time. He treated our questions promptly and was honest about how the setup will work
I want to start of with the better part of this review. Planet Fitness in eMalahleni have absolutely amazing staff and the facility is always in exceptional conditions and the machines are well maintained. The "vibe" is always good and the general feeling when in the gym is absolutely fantastic. The only reason why I am giving a bad rating is because Planet Fitness employees at a head office level either do not have access to, or can not seem to write an email. My reason for this statement is that Planet Fitness have contacted me multiple times since I cancelled my membership. I got into a conversation with an employee and we came to an agreement regarding my last payment. After that Planet Fitness tried to debit my account again, but I purposefuly ensured that the debit order would not be completed. I have been phoned numerous times after that regarding the payment. Planet Fitness is now ruining my credit score with the bank as well as my budget planning. Since the Planet Fitness employee confirmed the agreement, I have stopped all the debit orders from Planet Fitness at my bank, however, this doesn't stop them from trying their luck. Employees are representatives of the companies, so they are in a position to make agreements, especially like the agreement that was made between myself and an employee on the phone. I do wish that the management of Planet Fitness would listen to the recorded calls so that we can resolve this. If the management of Planet Fitness do not resolve this, they would be nothing more than common *******.
I have recently had the unfortunate experience with Vodacom's 5G packages. 1. I ordered a 100Mb/s uncapped 5G contract from Vodacom Highveld Mall 2. Contract was approved 3. I collected from the store 4. Waited for 24 hours 5. Unlocked the SIM CARD 6. Turned the router on 7. Did a speed test - Speedtest = 3.7Mb/s I went to my nearest Vodacom store and they advised me that I must do a sim swap, which I proceeded pay for, and do. 3 weeks later, and I still do not have a working product. Vodacom did not hesitate to debit my account for the pro rata amount, but they can not give me what I paid for. My product has been transfered to 3 different departments, and nobody can fix it. The gentleman from the one division came to my office to see if it isn't a signal problem, but when testing with his sim card in the router, speeds exceeded 250Mb/s, so it is most definitely not a signal problem, however, NOBODY in the entire Vodacom is willing to sort this out for me. Now, due to this, my VOIP lines are not working as they should, I'm losing new clients, and my entire business is suffering. I have spoken to customer care, and various representatives, but either nobody cares, or nobody knows how to fix the problem.
If you want it done right, go to Toyota Lynnwood. I bought my 2.4 SRX Hilux there a year ago, and until this day I haven't found a dealership with service like Toyota Lynnwood. There is still a sticker outstanding on the bakkie, but other than that, the SERVICE is outstanding! Well done guys!
In 2013, I had a problem with my 1993 VW Jetta. The car did not want to go into 5th gear. I went to many workshops, and all of them said that my 5th gear was stripped and I had to get a new gearbox. As a varsity student with no real income, I was hopeless. I went to Henco Service Centre, and I was told to pay upfront for the diagnostic. No other workshop had asked me to pay for a diagnosis. This was strange. I paid the money upfront, and Buks took my car in, this was at about 08:00. At 14:00 the amazingly friendly receiptionist calls me and says that my car is ready! I didn't understand. Buks told me that there was only a bolt loose on my 5th gear, and that he fastened it. If I had bought a new gearbox from another workshop, it would have cost me 4 x the price, and the workshop would have simply fixed my old gearbox and made clean profit from my ignorance. Since then my 5th gear worked until I sold the car in 2015. Now, I service my entire fleet of vehicles by Henco. Dankie oom Buks vir die goeie diens.
Thank you for great service. Leslie, Isabel, Hulda & Tanya, you make it easy for resellers to do business. Thank you Leslie for driving Rondo's service to new heights.
Where do I start? ABSA doesn't know how to close an account or update a credit record. I requested my ABSA Business Banking account to be closed down 2 months ago due to lack of service form ABSA. FNB has been stunning by the way, in case anybody was wondering. For the past two months ABSA have tried deducting money from an account that was closed. Secondly, in 2020, I paid off all my personal credit with ABSA. I recieved my "paid-up" letter stating that the accounts are closed and that everything is settled. I then try and run a credit check on myself, and sure enough, ABSA haven't updated it at all! I'm in two minds when it comes to taking ABSA to court for fraud. Charging costs to an account which has been closed, and on top of that keeping me liable for an account that has been closed for 2 years.
Empty promises from a bank. Who would have guessed? This review comes with a very heavy heart. In 2020, I had a falling out with FNB, who was then my primary bank for my company. Initially ABSA came to me and offered an amazing deal. This was almost too good to be true. I opened the account with ABSA, knowing that my company is going to grow in 2020 and 2021, and by the grace of God it did. Months pass, and I try to get a hold of my business relationship manager, Sifiso Dhludhlu, but to no avail(this was during the work-from-home phase). In the passing week, I tried to contact him 22 times with not so much as a call back. By this stage I'm waiting for ABSA to now fulfill their part of the offer, but I haven't heard a word. Slowly but surely, we moved our business away back to FNB. We used ABSA as a petty cash card. On 03/01/2021 I call Sifiso and he answers the call, only vaguely remembering me. I request to close the account. Without hesitation or asking for a reason he simply agrees to close the account. I send a letterhead requesting that the accounts be closed, and just like that, we're done. Let's contrast this with FNB. When I told FNB that I'm moving to ABSA, the asked me to stay, gave me a new personal banker who treated my company like gold. Her name is Justine Smith, and Justine kept every word of her promise. She phoned twice a month to check in and see how things are going and whether we need anything. Even when her portfolio changed, we were given a banker, Mfundo Zulu. Mfundo goes so far as to gym with his clients. I have never seen service like this. ABSA, I'll give you my banker's number so that you can call him and ask how banking is done.
Bidtrack saved more than just my car! At 01:15 Bidtrack called to say that the battery on my car has been disconnected. Thanks to that, we activated the panic button, which had ADT at our door in under a minute. We recovered our trailer only 100m from our house. The only damage that we had was two battery cables that were cut, a cellphone cable and 2 chains(not the rapper). Thank you for your great service! You are absolutely world class!
Thank you for resolving my query/complaint regarding the waiting period placed on my policy. Despite a lot of things going wrong in South Africa's economy, my Discovery medical aid is the last thing I'd want to loose.
