First time I learned that a store in South Africa doesn't do refunds. We bought a pair of sneakers at Side Step Polokwane for our son. He was not happy with the sneakers so we took them back only to be told the do not do refunds. This is against Consumer Protection Act and has potential reputational damage for Side Step and it parent company Pepkor. We bought 58 inch TV from HifiCorp and Cell phone from Pep Store and another pair of sneakers from Tekkie Town this week alone and I'm wondering if this is the same treatment I'll be getting if say the TV gives me problems. The lady who claim to be the manager retained the sneakers and said she will try to sell to someone then we can get our refund. Now we don't have our money and the sneakers. Please tell me if this is acceptable Regards Motho
Innovation group is refusing to pay for my service as they claim. 1st they said my contract has expired now they say I didn't service my car in 2023. When I took up the policy my car was almost due for a service and I told them I will pay cash for it which I did. I called VW now and the confirmed my claim. I have invoice for that service. My plan was only for two services and they only paid for one. I want them to either pay my money back or pay for the service. If VW charge me storage innovation group will be responsible.
Two weeks ago I received a call from Michelle, Outsurance employee. She insisted on giving me a quote and my mistake was to entertain her. Ever since I have been getting calls from different Outsurance employees. In a day I get a minimum of 3 calls. I asked them not to call me again but they refuse to listen and use different numbers so even if I block them they'll still manage to get through. I'm not their customer and I think they should respect me and stop abusing me.
My contract with Cell C ended in February 2023. To my knowledge I paid all instalments due to them. Cell C decided to delete my number for no reason and upon enquiring I was told I owe the last installment. I made an arrangement to pay them end of September but I couldn't for financial reasons. Then on Nov 13th I paying the whole amount and sent them proof of payment. I have been receiving call and email for non payment even though I sent proof to them and their collection department. Today a different company called and claim I owe even a bigger amount. These people are bulling me. Now there's also an adverse warning against me on Experian.
I have been with King Price since 2018. Everything I own is insured with them but recently I feel like they are not appreciative of my business. I mean how can you increase my premiums by over R900 in an economy like this. You are actually making me poor and your enjoying it. Perhaps is about time to walk away
They sent junk smses to my phone with an option to stop if I don't wish to receive any more smses. By the way I'm not their client and I do not intent being one in future. I did send an sms to stop future smses but they continue to send me spam smses. Please stop sending me smses. I'm not your client and I will never be one. I don't know where you got my number from. This is violation of POPIA and should stop immediately.
Excellent, I feel special every time I engage with KP
Cartrack only interested in collecting monthly premiums. My contract with Cartrack expired early 2021 but now when I want to cancel they insist on a 212 day notice so they can collect one last premium. When you sign up with them they do not tell you about this but they are quick to mention it and refer you to their terms and conditions. The T&C must also be read to me when I sign up with them not only when I cancel.
<div>In January 2021 I switched to the Chilli option but after realizing that I'm not really benefiting anything as a customer I switched back to normal comprehensive yesterday. KP increased my premium from what it was before the switch but that is not an issue. When I switched in Jan I paid R90 pro-rata which I don't know what for. Yesterday a "senior consultant" Mzolisi assured me that they will be no pro-rata payable to switch back to normal comprehensive. Now KP debited my account with R143. This is not the KP that a fell in love with. Stealing and lying to customers is not what I expected from KP. I expect my money to be returned with the bank charges by close of business tomorrow. </div>
My contract expired in October 2018 and my sim was converted to prepaid. Two weeks back I was mugged in Polokwane and my cell phone taken. I went to Vodacom to do sim swap only to be told that I need to pay R60 because my sim is still contract. How on earth could that happen, I personally called Vodacom to get my sim cha to prepaid when my contract expired. Why must I pay R60 for Vodacom's incompetence. Yesterday I was forced to buy a contract sim, I want my money back and my sim to be charged to prepaid with immediate effect. My number is 0826377140
