Let this be a warning to all potential buyers. It seems your inverter WILL fail in the warranty period from what I see on the user groups. Then you will wait a very long time to have it repaired. Mine was collected by the installer on 17th July. I still don’t have it back. Warranty is only 5 years. Will probably fail again just after warranty expires.
On receiving my annual increase schedule I was shocked to find a premium increase of 26%!! I have had no claims for past 5 years plus with previous insurers and none for past year on Discovery insure. My Vitality drive status is diamond. I phoned Discovery insure to ask why. No explanation was provided but a token reduction in the increase was offered. I said that I would be phoning again as soon as I had settled on a new insurer. I was then put through to the retentions department. I spoke to Duduzile Leope who gave me excellent service and reduced the increase to 10%. Thanks very much to Dudu who was a pleasure to deal with. I do though have an issue though with Discovery insure as I’m not sure why Discovery set such a huge increase in the first place. It has made me feel less comfortable with them. I have never had a claim with them but now I feel I may not be in safe hands - not sure of their trustworthiness. Even though I am pleased with many of the benefits - after all insurance is taken in case there is an accident or disaster of some kind.

I bought a Jeep Renegade Trailhawk 2.4 L end 2015. It has now done just under 30000 km. A few weeks ago I got the check engine light and the 4WD disconnected. Took it to Rola Jeep in Somerset West. They said it needed a software update according to the diagnostic machine. Software was updated - Jeep was with them for 4 days. The next time I drove it - light on again - took back to Rola. Three weeks later they me I must replace the diff at cost of R25.5K! No guarantee this will solve the engine light problem. Jeep SA managed to get that price down to about R20K and still no guarantee that it will solve the problem. Hows that for wonderful service and a wonderful product?
Hello<br> On the 29th February 2016 I gave the required months notice to terminate the 20GIG LTE contract I had with Telkom(case number 17885661). I stood in a queue for HOURS to get this done. Yet tonight on 31 March I get charged again for this contract on debit order!!! I want the R899 repaid to me immediately. I have to keep up my end of the contract - but Telkom does not have to? What is this? I have a second LTE 50GIG sim for which I have given notice on the 29th March 2016 (case number 18441285). What is the bet I will be debited for this again on the 30th April?! The reason I have stopped these is the DISMAL speed of the LTE connection which has dropped from about 10mbps 2 years ago to about 0.39mbps now. unusable.
Hello<br> I have been trying to contact Telkom in order to upgrade my LTE package from 20GIG to 50 GIG or 100GIG for several days. It is impossible to get an answer on the phone. I tried calling 081180. They tell me to phone 10213. Unfortunately, there is no answer here - no matter how long I hold on. I need to know what this will cost. I want it on a month to month basis.<br> PLEASE can someone help me? Or tell me where to call where I will get an answer on the phone.
Hello<br> Please advise what is going on. A fault was reported on 24 October 2015 - 94CTK241015. After long waits - they said it would be fixed on the 20th November. Still does not work. Cannot hear on the line - rushing sound and no ADSL. Please advise WHEN this will be fixed - or if its simply not going to be repaired at all?<br> <br> This is really pretty shocking service!!!<br>
Yesterday evening as I started driving home from work, my car began to beep - a high pitched whine and my reverse lights began flashing on and off. It was extremely annoying driving with this whine. The sound is not the beep of when you leave your lights on or when you don't have your seat belt on. Even when the car is switched off and key is out of the ignition, the flashing and whining continue, running the battery down. I got home and phoned Tracker as I suspected it was a Tracker problem. The Tracker agent on the phone told me it certainly was NOT a tracker issue. I then took the car to the garage who said was a tracker issue and I must call tracker to come out and fix it. Now Tracker tell me I must wait 2 or 3 days before they can come out to repair it. I said I could not wait that long - I need a car to get to work. They are adamant it cannot be done sooner. All I ask now is that they come and remove it forever. I don't want the unit. I will gladly pay the R395 to have the unit removed. Their service is too slow. I cannot be without my car for this long. This is not what they promised when I got the unit installed many years ago. Please Tracker - just come and take it out!!
I have been living in Gauteng since 1994 and have become used to bad service delivery, unfriendliness and wastefulness of city of Johannesburg. Bought a property in Somerset West early this year and have been amazed over and over again at the delivery of service. Had a small leak in the incoming water line. Got fixed the same day! In Joburg had gushing water for many many days until someone came to fix it. How friendly the are in CT when they answer the phone! In Joburg mostly no answer at all. So glad I made the move!!
On the 12th of June I applied for the uncapped LTE offer. I got a response that my bid was successful - ticket number: 100615-132556. Someone did contact me - but I could not make out the name as the message left on my phone was unclear and no phone number was left. I called the call centre several times and was told they could not help me that someone would call me again. I then sent an email query reference 3938578 on the 25th June. No one has responded to that either. Is Telkom going to make good on this offer? I am not pleased with this service and don't know how to get an answer to my query - when am I getting this uncapped LTE?????
