My current most favourite supplier. Most efficient delivery - literally within a day, sometimes even same day. Very responsive customer service and the specialised weekly deals are well thought out. Products and range excellent.
UCook has been one of my best finds - great quality ingredients, excellent customer service.
Bought drawers which were duly delivered, as warned, needing to be put together oneself. I actually paid someone to come to do it for me. He followed all instructions (which were NOT easy btw) but the last drawer won't open. I emailed customer service with video and they told me to rebuild. I have indicated this isn't possible. I have emailed three times and they completely ignore me. I even offered to take the drawers to their store to get somone to assist but no response. For a high-end place, the service is appalling. I now am stuck with drawers, that was not cheap (Cielo is not cheap) that isn't fully functional. Totally unimpressed.
I love Takelot so much. Everything from the website, to the order, to the delivery And then even return process is amazing. I love seeing the delivery vehicles scooting around.
Quicbooks on line is so awful, and really feels like a scam. I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up. It is horrible and so user-UNfriendly. It's almost impossible to get out of the subscription. Once you have info on, it's like you are trapped.. What's worse though is the support. I even hesitate to call to ask a single question because I get no joy - only frustration, and pushing me from pillar to post. I really really dislike this programme. And I have been an accountant for nearly 30 years. I do know what I am talking about. Quickbooks desktop is so much better.
This is the best invention ever - saves on shopping time, thinking time and food wastage. But on top of it, the service is responsive and helpful. This concept has liberated my cooking life.
Wow, I think this has been my best experience of any supplier. The best staff service, great food and recipes. On the ball responses to queries. Actually what ever their secret is, they need to share it. More businesses could do with their professionalism. Best 2018 find.
What a drama trying to get fibre installed. Firstly, Afrihosts website is misleading. It indicated that Octotel is available in my area and delivery and installation would be in 7 days. When after those 7 days I inquired about the progress, I was then told, Octotel WANTS to be in the area but isn't yet. They were hoping within 12 weeks. If I had known that I would have ordered Open Serve to start with. SO Afrihost website lied. I did ask for the order to be changed to Open Serve. A week later when I followed up, I am told that an order number wasn't generated. They could see I ordered, but they didn't generate the order for Open Serve, which means I am not even in the Open serve queue and Open serve is dealing with backlog. And then am told, there is nothing they can do about that even though that was Afrihost's error. Then twice a consultant says they'd find out about escalation and call me back. Still waiting for the call. Seriously, if you need internet in a hurry, don't even think about Afrihost.
I used SweepSouth for a good clean of a new house in Dec. Firstly so easy to use. Secondly, I had great service from the staff member, Abigail. A great way to source a service you need quickly and easily.
We applied for a student loan for my son, Matthew Mashiane, to study Electrical Engineering at UCT at the beginning of 2013. And each year after that, we applied for a top up. I spoke to my personal bank manager about pushing the commencement of the repayment to May 2018 as my son had been selected by an agency for a 3 month software development course, and would then start his permanent engagement from 23 April 2018 so would only be earning a salary from then. I also asked if the monthly payment could be reduced as a R8600 repayment is very high for a young graduate (this isn't the most important request). So now I am told, if I change these two simple terms, it would result in: 1. The interest rate increasing from 10% to 25%!!! They now want to convert the Student loan to a persoanl loan. Would ABSA really do this to a student loan? Surely this is completely wrong. We should be trying to help students study and not at such a cost. Study loans are supposed to be there to assist the "missing middle", but without completely crippling them. That would result in him having to pay more than twice the amount of interest, all because we asked for installments to start 6 months later while he is training. My personal account manager has tried EVERYTHING to fight this, but ABSA has rejected this outright. I have emailed the Student Loans manager, Jabulani Hlubi and I did not get any response. Basically ABSA you are failing your young graduates...and this actually is the future of your bank. In the meantime, which trying to negotiate new terms, ABSA has handed me over to lawyers .I am appalled at the absolute horrible treatment of this issue...basically exploiting a student and young graduate.
