Father's Day, Is a day when most Families set out to spoil their wonderful Fathers (and also grandfathers). We had heard that there is only one Woolies in PE which opened at 8:00 on Sundays. We phoned early at 8:00 to confirm that we were able to purchase hot freshly roasted chickens. The Duty Manager Dolian Vosloo, confirmed that the chickens will be available. We decided to spoil everyone and give the "girls of the families" also a day free of making the main meal. In the light of the Family get-together, it was decided to have 4 chickens. What a wonderful shopping experience, to shop early in Woolies on a Sunday, no rushing, bumping other customers, all goods well displayed, and cashiers smiling and not pressured to quickly handle customers in a rush. Woolies PE Gardens, full marks for a most satisfying service. Also to mention the friendly and delightful service of the Duty Manager.
I'm a Mystery Shopper, hoping to allow us the Customer to receive better and more pleasant shopping experiences from Retail Businesses. Sir, there is an incredible amount of retail stores that lose unrecoverable returns, and the managers are puzzled as to why. Sir, you cannot be in all places or notice what kind of service or attitude is displayed to your customer. I'll take this opportunity to illustrate an experience I had one morning at Capellini in Walmer Park Mall. Neelam Matthews was the Waitress for our table. She was friendly, polite and serviced with a smile, asked how she was able to assist. She told us that they have a Breakfast special for Pensioners or if we cared to look at the menu, they have a variety of specials. I gave the order and told her that I would like to have it within an hour if that could be arranged as I have an appointment. She smiled with an assurance that she'd explain to the kitchen. After immediately delivering the order to the Kitchen, she returned saying that the kitchen had no problem with that request. She asked if we'd like Caffee-Tea and perhaps read the Herald while we waited. In the meantime, she cheerfully attended to customers. Within 1\2 hour she set the table. we had assistance from other colleagues to deliver our Breakfast. Wow! A remarkable service. The Manager kept a careful eye on the service his customers received whilst he (Morne) was in and out of the kitchen. Customer Management and care by the Waitress/Waiters set this Restaurant one to be noted.

They are there when you need them MOST—Momentum Insurance Claims Dept. I had the most reassuring experience dealing with Akani Maululeke and the Claims Dept. Team consistent of Tianna Pillay and Canadis. It brought goodwill back into dealings with the above staff. Nothing was beyond the expectations of a client, I had mentioned that due to the fact that I had waited a long time on the call before being assisted, and my call had depleted my available cell phone amount, she asked for my number as she would call me. This was immediately done and within seconds we were able to communicate, what a wonderful start. Akani Maluleke, a very polite and patient man assured me that he would speak slower and try to be clearer, all the way through the claim he would ask me kindly if I had heard and understood. Thank Momentum Claims for training such wonderful and helpful staff.
What a pleasurable shopping experience greeted us when we went to Kloppers PE. This is a well-fitted supplier of most goods except for foodstuffs. A vast variety of Household and Electric goods, all well displayed. Friendly staff to assist and answer questions. Prices are very reasonable and some negotiable. Stanton assisted us and his attitude and friendly manner were very noticeable, also information about various other products in his department. As there is a vast variety of merchandise on display, you need to ask if there is something in particular you would need to see and you will soon be guided to that particular section. As for your payment, the staff manning that section is also well trained and friendly. Particularly Sharmonique Windvogel who handled our payment with friendliness and care. An impressive, well-organised display of all products and well-displayed prices. Kloppers our PE store is a store that shoppers will return to and recommend to others.
KFC Great Products & Top Class Brand Name. However, Brand Names are developed and jealously looked after as their fight for the top name in Fast Food is always at the knife edge of this industry. So my point. Creating and attaining a pole position takes lots of study of their customer's lifestyle, eating habits and want of best services. Hard work on behalf of both Customer Service and the quality of Foodstuffs. KFC had done their homework exceptionally well and ticked all their consumer's needs 'boxes' Millions poured into top-class adverts and posters, All for what? When a customer becomes very shocked and disappointed as an oversight result of 'no-one at the Branch level is available to may his customer Happy' No smiles and loss of the customers business, may seemly be 'laughed off'. But Mr Kentucky your business has just also lost a whole lot more in 'word of mouth ' At any cost within reason, by keeping your customers happy with a smile on their faces. Train your Branch Managers to solve problems, and your adverts encourage customers to order 'online' to save them waiting time or by delivery. In so far as I had aired my views. I had a similar encounter. If it were not for Nomaqocwa Qangule - Trainer of Store Managers. Who stepped up to the mark and listened to our reason why we were so irritated and upset about not getting our KFC order, as the previous store staff were just not interested. Yes! Nomaqocwa, showed and taught her trainees, that in the interest of the customer give reasons to leave with a satisfied smile knowing that the Customer is what it's all about- the Chicken is just the attraction of the deal.
Why we had enjoy shopping with Woolworths Sunridge Park Port Elizabeth. There are so many perfect reasons, but to illustrate my recent encounter with a certain product line under the Woolworths Brand. My wife bought 4 packets of 5kg. Cake Wheat Flour, the date was well ahead of the best use-by date. However, when opening it to use, she was horrified to find that the contents were spoilt and unusable. On finding this, she immediately checked the other recently purchased packets. They all were in the same condition. She returned the packets. The duty manager Mark Sofute was shocked and immediately exchanged them and took it upon himself to check the exchanged ones. Satisfied, on reaching home, she decided to check all the others which had an advanced use-by date. Until this occasion, she never doubted the products and quality of all the Woolworths Branding being nothing but top class. Disappointed, she returned to 'our Woolworths' and again showed Mark. He was surprised to see the soiled products. Immediately went into their storage area to check (she presumed) other deliveries of Woolworths Branded Products. He apologized and made a thorough check before replacing the soiled products. My wife was impressed by the way Mark quietly handled the situation and exchange. Mark 'ticked' as many of the Boxes as he was allowed to do, in trying to satisfy his customers, and said that he'll notify their Warehouse in Cape Town of these findings. What another excellent happy Banking experience we encountered this week. We especially went to the Baywest Mall in PE. As about 6 months ago we've had dealt with this particular Standard Bank Branch, and then we also received an excellent encounter, that's why we went out of our way to again just go to that particular Branch. That's the background of this review. Consultant Shakera Booysen attended to our needs to renew our "U Count" Points Credit Apps. As we are Old Age Pensioners, we often do require plenty of patience and many repeats as our hearing is unclear. Our hero was Consultant Shakera Booysen, who ticked 'ALL of the Boxes'. Once again we walked out being very happy customers. Pls! Standard Bank your Customers love this type of Service from your Consultants. Thumbs up!
Checkers Baywest PE. Has an excellent Promotional to draw Pensioners every Wednesday to visit their Store. From 9.00 to approx. 11.30. Outside of their store in the Baywest in their Mall outside of Checkers. This is overseen by Ranette Bester one of the Managers. It seems to attract many customers to the Store. As most Pensioners and others view the advertised specials and the offers are usually enough to attract many to explore their wares inside. Thank You Checkers Hyper Baywest.
