Just got a call from a consultant, her named sounded to be Nthombi but not sure. Vodacom, you have the resources to trace your calls, if you have any interest in listening in on the 0 custo.wr etiquette some of your employees have, make an effort to listen to this call i just received. She is beyond rude. I answered the call as I am awaiting an important call. I am currently in hospital. Vodacoms 1000 numbers they call from doesn't show up as vodacom, so you do not know it's your call centre that's calling. I answer the call and she is wanted to try to sell me some service, I politely said to her, I cannot speak now I am at the hospital. She has the audacity to ask me why did I answer the call if I cannot speak to her. Vodacom if this is the attitude of the people you employ, do you think customers will ever consider using any services you provide. I stopped using vodacom as a service provider due to pathetic services received. Seems like the pathetic attitude of their employees are still very much intact.
Most non responsive and frustrating business I have come across. I purchased a product from Takealot [whom are equally unhelpful in this matter. I received a call a few seconds ago from one of their very arrogant consultants basically stating they cannot do anything. Surprise, Surprise!!!] Be that as it may, the issue stems from this useless payment platform called Payflex. I ordered on takealot and selected payflex as the payment method. I selected to pay my purchase over 4 installments. 1st and 2nd Installment went of without issue. However for the 3rd installment I paid the total outstanding to cover both the 3rd and 4th installments. Their system however only reflected the 3rd installment as paid and the error persisted on their system, despite numerous email request to resolve the issue. They just do not respond and good luck ever trying to reach them telephonically. I now have made a further payment to cover the final installment(which was already paid) to avoid their late fees penalty resulting in me over paying and they just do not want to resolve this issue.
I paid my account in store before the debit order could go off on the 25th as I had an issue with my account. Notwithstanding receiving my payment they charging me penalty for a returned debit order. I cannot afford to pay the penalty and they suspended the service although my account in terms of my phone usage is up to date. Disgusting company, and consultant from their collections department. My contract unfortunately only expires next year but after this horrible experience, I will NEVER EVER use any product or service from Vodacom. I was a loyal customer since 2011 and now left beyond dissapointed.
Perhaps a 0 or negative star rating, if possible, would be more apt for this insurer. Quick to deduct monthly premiums but to pay out a claim is beyond frustrating and upsetting. My Father (72 years old), has been with this insurer for years, never neglected or failed to pay his premiums, be it for, car, building, household etc. he has with them. He now has an issue with his geyser. When trying to get this insurer to assist, with what he has been paying for all these years, they set the excess to more than double the cost of a new geyser, around 13k plus. Such a tactic, would obviously make any person, especially a pensioner, think twice from proceeding with their claim. Furthermore, he had to deal with a rude claims consultant. He advised her that he cannot pay that excess and as expected, she dismissed it and simply stated there is nothing Outsurance can do. She further had the audacity to say to him that if he wants to cancel his insurance, she can do it right now. Her behavior clearly shows lack of any appreciation or value toward customers. If this is the manner in which Outsurance treats or allows their customers to be treated, many more cancellations will follow. They simply proved that they just a business looking for their own gain and benefit.
A big disappointment. Invested in their over priced Lumispa which never really done anything beneficial for my skin, really. The machine is now malfunctioning and when I inquired on options, I am told nothing can be done as the limited warranty is only for 2 years. There is no repair facilities available in SA. So basically the overpriced junk they sell, will only last for the 2 year period the warranty is in place and if you are over the warranty even in the slightest, we’ll you are left hanging, like I am. I will never invest anything in future, in these products.
Annoyed with this company. I am not interested in their products yet they pestered me with non stop calls as someone decided to give them my details to receive a free gift. I received a perfume (biggest mistake) and after that they flooded me with calls in attempts for me to buy their packages or something or the other. Recently a consultant phoned to sell their VIP Ambassador package and I decided to accept (biggest mistake again) telephonically, despite being reluctant to. After I accepted, the consultant hastily finished the conversation. Anyway during this consultation she advised if I wanted to cancel I could do so at any time as I have a money back guarantee. My debit for this plan, is due to go off on the 25th of August and products will be received 10-14 days after. On the 1st of August (a day after the consultation) I sent an email to cancel this Plan. On the 4th they respond, acknowledging the cancellation and advising a consultant will call me to process in 2 days. No one called to date. Yesterday I get a “welcome letter “. I phoned to inquire on the cancellation and I am informed that the plan is not yet cancelled but the person I now spoke to said she will mark it as “provisionally cancelled” and a consultant will urgently call me back. Still no call from them and today I got a reminder to fund my account for their debit order. Really irritated with this company. They hound people to get a sale and after the sale is done, the after sales/cancellation service is pathetic.
If this company could get 0 or negative star rating that would be ideal. What a annoying and infuriating company. We cancelled our membership in 2017 after a long rigmarole and headache with these people. In 2017 we finally received confirmation of cancellation from them and they acknowledged receipt of the cancellation fee (which amount they told us was due) and we paid. 5 years later, I receive a “collections” letter via email from them where they now trying to get a further R13k, for what I have no idea. Absolutely disgusting. We sent them our cancellation confirmation that they sent to us and their response is “we will forward your email to senior management”. No apology or reply, as yet, from their senior management. Such a shoddy company.
If I could give this STUPID store 0 stars I would. They sell broken ****. What an unpleasant experience. And the owners are shamelessly rude. I will never buy from this idiotic store ever. If these despicable owners even care about reviews maybe they’ll adjust their disgusting attitude and realise that THEY NEED customers NOT the other way around. Their cheap quality and broken stuff is really not worth the trouble. Wasted my time and petrol going to that store. Wouldn’t be surprised if they close down in the near future. Clearly have 0 customer etiquette perhaps never even heard of such or under the perception it’s not applicable to them.
Be careful of purchasing perfumes from this business. They advertised parallel imports on perfumes but when you purchase they provide no feedback on the order. Their number is invalid when you try to ring them and on WhatsApp they read your messages but don’t respond. It’s a scam business and these disgusting scammers feed of honest hardworking consumers. I probably will not get back the money I paid but warning others to not purchase from the scammer.
