This store is a ****!!! beware!! I ordered a Smart Tv Box among other things. The box was faulty and secondhand. i contacted these people on watsapp and soon as i made them aware of their ****, they went completey off the radar, no response to my emails or watsapps. This is a totally unprofessional company, i have seen other very negative reviews about them, but with my personal experience, i can vouch for all the bad reviews. Beware of getting ****med by this company.
I would like to share with the unsuspecting public the horrid experience i had with Rochester Umhlanga branch., followed by verbal threats. On Black Friday i phoned the branch and inquired about a lounge suite which i was interested in, ther saleslady siad i would recieve 10% off the price, at which point i had agreed to make the purchase, awaiting the invoice from them. after repeatedly calling them back for the invoice, eventually the sales lady said she cant sell the lounge suite at less 10%, at which point i escalated to the Regional manager, i eventually got it at less 10%. Then came the horror of delivery. 3 days later i received a lounge set (leather), which was damaged, i was surprised that Genuine Leather could sustain that type of damage, so i requested a new delivery. From this point the Store (umhlanga) refused to take accountability for the delivery, insisting that i deal with the warehouse, my argument being i didnt buy the set from the warehouse. i had to once again call in the Regional manager to address the situation and she resolved with the warehouse for delivery on 2/12. On 2/12 the driver called me at 07h00 he indicated my delivery would take place before 9am, i indicated to him to please keep to the timeframe as i had planned an event for later with my kids. Come 9am, no delivery, i called the driver he said he cant deliver i must wait for 12h00. Come 12h00 no delivery i went back to the Regional Manager. To note is that at no point did i see that the RM had taken ownership and acoountability of a situation which she could see was quickly escalating out of control. She called and promised delivery by 2pm. Come 2 pm still no delivery by now i had cancelled with my kids with zero remorse from Rochester. The RM was now ignoring my calls and messages, clearly she was incapable of handling the situation, so she left me out in the cold to deal with it Myself. At around 3 pm i got a call from the warehouse dispatcher, an extremely rude male ( i cannot say genleman) as he went to the extent of threatening me with my phone on speaker and my kids listening to the convesation. He mentioned that he knew where i lived and was coming to sort me out. he also refused to make delivery and laughed about it. the GM continued ignoring my calls, at which point i cancelled the sale, no remorse from the GM, she had encouraged the cancellation earlier. On Monday i went to Furniture Vibe who gave me the most respectable and friendliest service, my goods were delivered 2 days later, they even waived the delivery cost for me. My advice, dont deal with Rochester, you will end up having horror and threats - nobody wants that!
It has been barely 2 months since I posted a negative review on the horrible sevice delivery from Momentum Insure, and they back at it again.. same dept.. Claims. 2 weeks ago i lodged a vehicle claim with them, i then followed it up with several emails - to my local service agent, Verona as well as 2 Managers, Kerry Britz and Khanya Cele. To date my claim hasnt even yet been registered on the system, these Managers have simply ignored my emails.... and like I said, not for the first time. Clearly Momentum do not care about their Customers but are quite happy to take our hard earned money without the provision of a service.
I used to be insured with Alexander Forbes they were an exceptional insurer, sadly they became Momentum and now I am left with incompetence, a dont-care-a-damn attitude and sheer customer disrespect. on 3 Jan 2023, i had an issue with my fridge failing after loadshedding, i had called them at least 20 times nobody answered, when i finally did get hold of them they pushed me around from pillar to post with no help. Eventually they allocated an agent, a totally incompetent uncaring individual who was in total chaos as to how to deal with my claim, its been 2 weeks she hasnt even called me and ignores my emails. Worse is that i escalated to their senior Manager, Khanya, who accepted the wrongdoing on their part, but has done nothing to resolve. Their service is despicable, and i will never pay my subscriptions to an incompetent company whose staff give a damn about their clients.
I would like to express my absolute disgust at the service provided by Takealot, the poor product quality as well as the rude behaviour of their staff. I ordered a set of luggage bags on 7 Dec, i received the product on 10 Dec, it was a secondhand set and the wrong colour, I immediately sent it for a REPLACEMENT and i specified this. Nothing happened and they were uncontactable over the long weekend, On Monday 19 Dec, found that they changed my request from Replace to Refund, without my consent or even knowledge. When i contacted them the lady i spoke to was rude and totally unhelpful, she even refused to give me her full name or allow me to speak to management. There a re plenty online stores that treat their customers with repect, Takealot falls very short of that, maybe they have become too arrogant. As of right now, i have terminated my Takealot account
Hi Guys please DO NOT use the AVO online store, this company is a disgrace to the Nedbank franchise, so much so, that I, a Nebank client of over 30 years, am now deciding to even quit Nedbank (who seemingly are tied in with this company), because of this affilliated company AVO. Firstly they advertised a Siemens washing machine at less 63%, which made the real price look at about R18k. This unit sells for around R7k - FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! I actually bought this machine - biggest mistake of the year! The machine came in cling wrap, not boxed. I have been in contact with the call centre for 5 days, it is an understatement to say their support staff are USELESS! They have been lying, making excuses, dropping my calls - i dont know if this business is a SCAM or just totally out of their depth. Whatever it might be, i can only warn prospective buyers - STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE!!! You want value for money, shop with the online stores who know about how to treat customers, Takealot, Superbalist, Onedayonly, etc.
I ADVISE ANY CUSTOMER - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM DEALHUB... This is indeed a type of scam company. i have read all the reviews posted and my experience is the same as everyone else, you place your order, they take your money,, and its gone. This site should be dealt with by the relevant authorities as they are stealing hard-earned money from innocent customers.
I made a booking at Shaka's Seat in Ballito for a weekend getaway with my family (6 including 2 kids). They did not have a 6 sleeper so i opted for 2 separate units. Upon confirmation I tried calling the lady who does the bookings, her name is Debbie, she did not take my several calls, however, I then got a rude message from Debbie stating that i am not allowed to have my family join me at our suite as it is only for 4 people and we will cause disturbances. My family were booked with me at Shaka's Seat, just in a different suite and only because Shaka's Seat did not have a 6 sleeper. i did not ask for external people to come in, nor did i ask for my family to sleep at my suite. They are my kids how did she expect me not to be with them. This is like a prison, not a holiday resort. I have kept records of her insults and condescending behaviour.
Thava Restaurant at Monte Casino is a disgrace to the Indian Cuisine. I visited during Xmas 2021 and i found this restaurant to be the worst in Monte Casino (maybe even all of JHB). They do not serve authentic Indian Curries. Instead what I found was that they make this rather bland "general" curry sauce and then use it for ALL their curries, by simply throwing in whatever meat you choose eg lamb, chicken, fish etc. Of specific reference however was their deceitful dishonest behavior regarding a "fish" curry (takeaway) which i ordered on 26/12/2021. i had asked them what fish was used and they told me it was Kingklip, i then ordered the meal. Only to find that it was a bland "brown" looking curry which was tasteless and stale. And then to find it was not Kingklip they used but small tasteless chunks of Hake. This food was not fresh the Hake was chewy and the curry tasted horrible. When i phoned the Manager to ask why they charged me R200 for a Fish Curry and used HAKE, he insisted that it was Kingklip. Firstly they deceived me by serving Hake instead of Kingklip, but more importantly he persisted in lying about it, which begs the question... If the Manager of Thava can lie about what fish they using in their curry, then what else are they lying about to their Customers????? I gave a 1 star rating of this restaurant only because i didnt have the option of giving them a minus rating. Most horrible restaurant i visited.
I would like to inform the unsuspecting public of the horrid work which Chem Dry in Hilton PMB do in carpet cleaning. I moved into our new home after Chem Dry Hilton were appointed by the previous owners to clean the carpets. On the very same day they claimed to have cleaned the carpets i took a clean cloth and simply wiped the carpet only to find thick black dirt coming off. I later vacuumed the carpet and there was mud and sand which came off. i took photos of this and sent to the owners of Chem Dry who promised to come back and clean it. On the day they supposed to return the owner went back on his word and insisted they had cleaned the carpets. My advice - NEVER use these people they have proven to be scammers looking for the odd buck off innocent customers.
