I have ordered a special pillow at a cost of R849. The product has never been delivered and my requests for a refund are ignored. I am beginning to think this may be a ****.
Precision & Sons repaired a damaged rim on my vehicle. After I received the vehicle back, I noticed new damage on the rim. I sent pictures to the company. I was promised that the wheel would be collected and fixed. Subsequently I had to follow up a few times. It is now more than a month, and there has been no further action or communication.
I have ordered an item over eBay more than five months ago, but it has still not reached me. I do not manage to get any useful feedback from either eBay, or their supplier. I have also not managed yet to get a refund.
I am a client of ACT Group for many years, and can strongly recommend them. They are always exceptionally friendly, helpful and effective. I see them as my accounting services partner. Without their support, my life would have been a lot more complicated!
A gas geyser was installed at my home. Later, another gas installation was done by another party, however, he could not sign-off the new installation, as the installation by The Plumbing Lady / The Gas Lady was found non-compliant with regulations. It cost me R1 888 to get The Gas Lady installation compliant. I asked the Gas Lady manager to refund me for this. He refused, arguing that it would not be worth my while to take this to court, as the amount is too small. He may be right, but at least I can warn other unsuspecting customers.
On Monday 4 November 2024 I ordered an Uber. When the driver collected me, it was 38C outside, so even warmer inside the car. I asked him to switch on the airconditioner. He refused. I said in that case he must take me back, as I was on my way to the airport and did not want to start my trip all sweaty. He immediately stopped and wanted me to get out. I insisted that he take me back to the pick-up point, about 300m from there. He eventually took me back, but then I was charged for the trip. This is unacceptable!
Years ago, I went through a painful process with Telkom Mobile to activate my business cell phones for international Roaming. Out of the blue yesterday, I received sms messages on all the business phones that "your International Roaming service has been deactivated successfully. For Questions or Queries dial 180." So I called 180, navigated through the endless process to reach international roaming - only to get the message: Refer to our website.... Totally unacceptable. Telkom make a blunder and then I sit with an endless pain to rectify or move to a service provider with better customer service.
Whatever you do, I strongly recommend you do not use this company. I ordered a small tool costing R149. When I made the payment, they took R356-46 from my account. When I collected, I had to pay an additional R224. This product end up costing almost 4 times what I was prepared to pay and what was quoted. I ordered on 11 May 2023 for delivery to my door. I heard nothing for a long time and kept following up. Eventually I traced the parcel to my local post office - not delivered to my door. The estimated delivery date was given as 4 April. Eventually, I managed to trace it on 29 April. Never, never, never again I will buy anything on Fruugo!
I applied for a business credit card and was told by my bank there is an unpaid amount registered with Transunion. I know this is not true, as I pay all my accounts. When trying to find out what this is about, TransUnion refuses to give me the information unless I pay them an amount in excess of R200. This is totally unethical!
I am highly disappointed with RSAWEB. I switched to this company after I have seen positive reports. However, my experience is not good at all. This morning I do not have internet on my fibre connection. So I sent an email via my phone network. The response was: Contact us on our Whatsapp line. I did so, however, there is no response on the RSAWEB Whatsapp support line either. Terrible. I cannot work like this.
