DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! I viewed a Town House, really nice place, was told that it was prepaid Electricity and prepaid water. Upon the inspection, noticed that the walls were re-painted in certain areas. Received the lease agreement, which also stated "Prepaid electricity". Received the welcome letter, which also stated "Prepaid electricity". When I moved in, the maintenance manager handed me TWO meters, one for electricity and one for water. Upon receiving the first months rental statement, I noticed a charge "standard water fee" of R650! Bearing in mind I am one person, and this is a complex. When enquiring, all I am told each time (when they bother responding) is that well it's not prepaid, and there is a standard monthly water charge of R650. I did not pay the R650, until we have resolved the issue, they then proceed to add you as a "bad paying tenant" on the tenant review. There is mold growing on the inside of the unit, in the bedroom and lounge, they simply do not care to assist. I cannot believe that a "professional" company can operate so *********ly. Do your homework before renting property, and do not rent from this company, they will mislead you, and what you sign on the lease doesn't stand (which is strange, as the lease is actually the LEGAL BINDING DOCUMENT. I have only been there for 1 month, love the unit, love the complex and neighbors, but the headaches and time it has taken me to have issues addressed has been a nightmare of an experience as they simply do not care.
I had my possessions stored there for 3 months. Got my couch back torn (after having it recovered in October 2024. They refuse to take any responsibility for the damaged couch, nevermind the TV stand that is so scratched because they FORCED all my items into one small container, because they misjudged what size I would need, even though a full inventory list has been sent to them. They ended up storing half of my couch, unwrapped, in the passage of their warehouse! If you want your belongings damaged, and no compensation for them, go ahead and use Storage King as your choice of service provider. The absolute worst!
I had a layby with them. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel it, I requested to cancel and sent all documents for my refund. It is day 11, no refund received and no one is now responding to my emails. I spend 45 minutes on one phone call and about 30 on another, only to not be put through to the correct department or anyone who can assist.
I purchased a couch (L Shaped) unit from them in November 2022. By July 2023 the stitching on the couch started coming loose. They do not offer to take back their sub standard unit that I purchased for R12K (in my opinion shouldn't be breaking in less than a year of purchasing). They not only do not "offer a guarantee", but also go back on the word of management that happen to be "no longer working there". DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. Your products will BREAK / TEAR APART within ONE YEAR and they will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist nor retain their customers.
I had a booking at Coco Vogue on Sunday at 15h30. Prior to purchasing a voucher from Wiki Deals, I contacted them to enquire regarding availability, to which had been confirmed, resulting in me purchasing said voucher. Once the voucher had been purchased and I sent it to Coco Vogue to confirm the booking, I was told that there are no slots available and had to basically work around what they could squeeze me in for. We arrived at the place at 15h15, for our 15h30 appointment. The massages only started at 16h00pm. I'm not certain what the "Welcome ritual" is, that you advertise on the deal, as nothing of this sort was done for us. You advertise (Swedish, CBD or signature) full body massage, we were not given an option to choose which we would've preferred. You advertise (Kalahari glow facials) of which we did not get. You advertise 2 ****tails, however when the coupon is purchased, it states "mocktails", which is not a train smash, however we were yet again, not given the option as to which mocktail we would like and were given some horrible drink that we just left and didn't even touch. Initially, this was advertised, and once the coupon is purchased, what was advertised is no longer relevant. image.png I would've purchased elsewhere had I known that this is the level of ethical conduct at this Spa. You shouldn't advertise under false pretences, and no, there are options for leaving out certain treatments, or the pizza, etc... What is advertised as above, is what was sold as the coupon, however when the coupon gets sent, half of the promises are removed and you get rushed. disappointing service. I would like to commend the massage the******s, they did a good job (on what was actually done), however the overall experience at this place has left a bitter taste and I would definitely never go back there and would most certainly not recommend anyone to go there either.
I am from Johannesburg and wanted to do something nice for myself and a friend for Friday whilst I am in Cape Town. I saw a deal for Coco Vogue Beauty Bar and BEFORE purchasing I enquired with them if they have availability for this Friday 24 November as I knew this is the ONLY day I would be able to make it. They responded saying there is availability, I therefore proceeded to purchase the voucher, and now they come back to me telling me that there is no availability. I live in JHB, there is no way I can use this voucher any other time. The level of unprofessionalism is disgusting and now I am not even worth a response!!
I received a cash send voucher from a Tyme Bank user. They sms came from one of those numbers, with a Tyme Bank logo, etc. I visited 2 Pick n Pay stores, none of them could give me my money but also cannot tell me what the issue is other than it says "invalid smart shopper". Not entirely sure what a smart shopper has to do with a cash voucher. I called Tyme Bank, I've emailed Tyme bank and sent them a screenshot of the exact message that was received. All they can say is "sorry, we dont have access to vouchers" No one can assist by telling me if it is a *****ulent voucher or if the voucher is even valid. All this money now gone down the drain and I cannot even get hold of the sender which makes me suspicious that it is not valid, however i need tyme bank to confirm the voucher number at least or at least an explanation as to why I cannot withdraw it, but NO ONE is willing to go above and beyond. So they as a bank just allow their customers to go around ****ming people with their name. Well done on your service!
If I could rate lower than ZERO, I would. My account has been de*****ed twice within 2 months, their customer service agents provide reference numbers that are linked to other individuals, I get promised a reversal has been processed, when I call back to follow up there are no notes on the system, the agent cannot understand why I was told that and there is no progress on the case even though I have sent through an affidavit and spoken to 3 people who all clearly have no idea how to deal with these cases as they all fed me bull****! I cannot wait to close this bank account, including all my profiles with them and move to a more affordable bank that actually has employees who are well trained in assisting their clients!
I have had 3 seperate incidents whereby I cash send myself money (as I dont have a bank card) of which the money does not come out of the ATM (And the receipt actually shows that R0 cash was collected, however the money deducts from my account and does not get reversed. I have sent capitec countless amount of emails, as well as proof of the receipts outlining the differences between when the cash send withdrawal has been successful and when not. It has been a month later almost and I am yet to receive a response, let alone assistance from their customer service department. Absolutely worst, most shocking customer service EVER, especially for a bank.
