Last week we placed an order with Connie at the Fourways branch, upon placing the order we explained that we are in Zimbabwe for Christmas and would she mind packing the goods in boxes so my guy can just pay and load, she said \certainly no problem at all". We buy weekly from the Boksburg branch and they always box the stuff for us and have never had a problem with damaged goods. Unfortunately Boksburg was out of stock this time! The order was small"
On 21st oct we hired a car for 16 days,we also requested a Toyota Avanza and it's on our conformation voucher,upon arriving at Avis we obviously disrupted your ladies tea party with the way we were treated! We were told there's no avanzas so we must take a corolla,we produced the conformation voucher and were shouted at by Tumi saying we together with our travel agent committed fraud on the voucher! The Indian male manager agreed!! Does Avis give vouchers to everyone I wonder!? Upon leaving in the corolla we faced a blow out outside Etetwa off ramp on our way to Witbank,I called the emergency hot line. 30mins later they called me back and said I must have R10k waiting for a Mercedes Benz as they have no other cars!! I said no I simply want the tyre changed,45mins later they call me and say the charge is R600. Bu this time I was sitting on the side of the road for over an hour with my baby!!! They never did come. We had two blow outs in two weeks because every single tyre was a different brand!!! Avis you disgust me, your staff are rude,arrogant and unhelpful!
On Saturday 31st October at 8:30am my mom and I decided to go for breakfast with my toddler, upon arriving at Spur all the waiters and waitresses were congregated in the door way chatting as usual, we finally managed to get past them and to our table. We ordered coffee and breakfast, when we placed the order we asked for very soft tomato as my mother had toothache,I asked our waitress if this could be done and she assured me yes. 20mins went by when the food came the tomato was raw, I sent it back as I had requested soft tomato. Danie the manager came over,again I explained that I needed soft cooked tomato for my mother, he found this extremely amusing! 30mins passed and the food came again this time the tomato completely raw! It was sent back again and cancelled, by this time my toddler was crying as it had been nearly an hour and nobody had eaten. Danie and our waitress both found this hilarious! Finally Johan came to talk to us but still couldn't solve the problem. I'd like an answer as to what Danie found amusing? He's a useless manager whom couldn't manage a drink spree in a pub! The spur was dead quiet as well so they can't use that as an excuse.
On November 1st we went into clicks, we already had some shopping in our trolley, upon leaving the alarm sounded so we stopped to see why. We found that my one year old had dropped a sun block into the trolley without my knowing, I apologized for this and even offered to pay for it even though i didn't want it. By this time Icy was at my trolley and Godfrey. Godfrey decided to rip all my packets open, tip out my baby bag and dig through all my personal belongings, he went on to 'confiscate' 6 boxes of chocolates that I had been given by my sister. He informed me that once I could produce the receipt I could claim them, I explained that my sister had the receipt and was on her way to Johannesburg by this time. He said he didn't care and was taking them because I had stolen them! This ordeal went on for 45mins in front of everyone! I have never been so humiliated in my life! I faxed the receipt through to clicks head office and as of now 7th November I still do not have my chocolates from clicks. I'll never support that store again as long as I live.
I made a complaint against Jacob at the steers in the Total petroport between Witbank and Johannesburg,I was sworn at and verbally abused by this man, Ashley Williams got in touch with me asking for my numbers so she could be in touch. It's been over a week now and guess what. SILENCE!! Yesterday I get an email (not a polite one either) saying she can't get hold of me,I told her I am out the country and this is why I gave her my international number of which she hasn't tried once!! If management behave in this manner it's no wonder the staff do whatever they want. I'll be in Johannesburg tomorrow and can guarantee I will take this matter to the highest authority.
Thozama you are rude and arrogant, stop looking at yourself in the mirror long enough to assist the customers that help pay your salary!!!
I've just taken my 18 month old son to see Hotel Transylvania 2. He absolutely loved Hotel Transylvania 1, and has watched it many times. He was in a state of high excitement to be going to see this movie. Imagine our surprise (shock) when we were told that the Publications Control Board have rated this as nobody under 7! My son is now in tears. This is an animated kid's movie and, even though he was accompanied by me and his granny he was not permitted entry. What happened to our constitutional rights? Who gave these people the right to impose their views on the rest of us? He can go into a bookstore and can grab a porno mag off the shelf, but he can't see an animated movie. I would really like to understand their reasoning as I'm just flabbergasted right now.
Approximately 6-8 weeks ago, I purchased a Bounce pram from Toys R Us, Boksburg after a bad experience with a Graca. This morning the front wheel broke off. I went to Toys R Us. I showed their new Manager the damaged pram and explained to him what had happened. He was absolutely disinterested. His colleague, Robin, then tried to have the staff fix it. They were unable to do so correctly and I now have a pram that only goes in a circle to the right! I was then informed that I should take the pram to Evolution and that the repairs would be for my cost. I said that the pram was new and under guarantee, and asked why I should be inconvenienced and pay for repairs. The Manager was unable to explain and had no interest in resolving my complaint. <br> <br> At the store my son saw a Tommy Tank ride-on. It was a demo missing its handles and other parts. They only had one in stock. I said that I could not pay full price for something that was a demo and was damaged. They offered 5% discount. <br> <br> I complained to the Manager about his absolute lack of interest and lack of customer service orientation. His reaction was that I could take my business elsewhere. <br> <br> I haven't felt this short-changed in ages.
I purchased some Tommy Tank items from toys r us Boksburg 2 weeks ago, they arrived at me in Zimbabwe and my son liked the large train so I immediately asked Gary if there were different colors. He said yes but they are at four ways branch,I asked him to please organize me 1 in each color and he said no problem. 1 and a half weeks later I receive an SMS to say he is no longer with toys are us, I asked him if he ordered the trains and he replied to say I should deal with Robyn! I refuse to deal with Robyn, she is rude and uncooperative and I've had hassles with her in the past! These trains are R400 each and I asked for one of each which would come to about R3000, are you guys prepared to just lose a sale because non of your staff can get off their backsides and assist? I am out of the country and my runner works within the Boksburg area. Never heard such nonsense in my life!
On August 30th we view the website, picked the items we wanted and placed the order with Bianca, we got an email from her stating 90% of our order was out if stock and might only arrive In 2 weeks. We called and spoke to Tony whom stated he is the general manager, we asked it to have a look through our order and see if he could organize the stuff quicker as we needed it in Zimbabwe. He said yes and advised that only 2 of the items on our order were unavailable!! I thought great and went ahead and ordered, our runner paid and collected. Upon arriving in Zimbabwe we found that infact several items were missing! Tony is too high and mighty to take our calls and Bianca can't decide what's true or false! They are both extremely uncooperative and unhelpful, the service we received from both Tony and Bianca is absolutely disgusting! Why advertise things on your website if you do not stock them? Hire staff that are helpful and polite,we are not doing them a favor by supporting your store so maybe they should bear that in mind!
