I am getting sick of MTN. I have cancelled my data SIM card with MTN in November 2023, mind you the 24 months has lapsed already. I have done this through email to retentions@mtn.co.za, to date the contract was not cancelled and I am still billed on it.
I am really disappointed with Standard Bank, there was a suspicious transaction that came off my account and I called the ***** department to report. The best they could do was to open a case, stop and replace the card. Unfortunately I never got my money back. This is happening for the second time. I had similar encounters before and they were able to reverse it immediately when they suspect the transaction or call me to authenticate it. These days Standard Bank is failing me, I'm scared these *****sters might take all my salary and won't be able to get it back.

<p>A month ago I called French Spare Parts Silverton branch as I was looking for brake pads for my Renault Clio. They told me they have them and I should bring my car there. I took a day off from work and went to the shop, the salesman just looked at my car and gave me the brake pads. Mind you he didn't explain to me that I must fit them there. I took the brake pads and went to buy and fit tyres elsewhere.. The reason I did not fit the brake pads there was because I was going to change all my tyres the same day, and I could do wheel alignment and balancing. The guy who works at a tyre shop tried to fit in the pads but he realised that they were wrong. I then bought the brake pads at the tyre shop as I did not have enough time to go back to Silverton and get the correct ones. When I went to take them back they told me they can only give me the correct ones and not my money back. I feel like I was being panished for their incompetence. They were not willing to give me my money back and won't admit to their mistake. Although they gave me a voucher which i do not think I will use it, I needed my money back. I will not recomment them to anyone.</p>
I bought a Dstv with installation on the 26 January 2016, and I called and booked an installation immediately. I was told to wait 5 - 7 working days and an installer will contact me which they never did. I called again to follow up, they put me on a call with the installer of which we exchanged numbers and made an appointment. He never pitched on the day of the appointment and he didn't bother to call either. I tried calling him but he's not answering and not returning my calls. It's day 3 today and still no luck.
