I am an African Bank Savings and Investments customer. I made a request for a withdrawal on Monday 31/07, for an early withdrawal. The request went through and I received an sms confirming that the matter was resolved. Today, 02/08, I did a follow up call to confirm that the withdrawal is on track. I was informed that there was some sort of verification block on my account and that it needed to be removed first and then the withdrawal process needed to start again. @AfricanBank, this honestly isn't cool. I've been out of work for the past couple of months and I had an opportunity to get work. I needed the money to move province. I made a commitment based on the timelines that African Bank told me and now since the process started from scratch today, I may miss out on this opportunity. What is worse is that there wasn't a single alternative you could offer to stick to the timelines that you informed me of. My question is - why didn't nobody tell me that there is this verification block on my account? And if I didn't call in today, what would have happened then?
I am not really writing a review, I am really trying to understand how the promotion Outsurance has on when they can't beat your quote for car insurance. I did a quote with them in mid-December. Outsurance wasn't able to beat my current premium and there wasn't any talk about being compensated about it. I also emailed and didn't get a direct response to my question
Consultant that I dealt with was professional. My rating is for the company and not the individual. My experience with Hollard is that they are poor communicators. They don't respond according to their own deadlines that come with their automatic responses and when you call in, the answers you get don't answer the question. I have had policy with them for 10 years. I was due cashback in 2017. It took 2 to 3 months for that to be paid out. I am due cashback now in December 2022. When I call and ask when will it be paid, I'm told anytime before the 31st of December. A response like that is like asking the question of what time will the wind start blowing?
The MyWorld account in summary: - Cheaper fees for day to day transactions than other banks I have used - Cheaper internet banking fees - BUT, a simple EFT made into my account on Monday 09h00 has taken more than 3 working days to clock into my account. This can't be normal in 2022. I can walk from Durban and it would still be quicker than this

Car purchased on 28 December 2021. Car had less than 55 000 km on the clock. I was traveling about 100km/h on the N3 and the engine developed two holes on two sides of the engine. Oil ended up leaking from the engine. Naturally, the car stopped moving. I needed then to be towed. This was within 3 weeks of me having the car, not even having done 1 000km. I reported the matter. Long story short, Qcars said the damage was caused by me driving over water puddles. I don't believe the assessor is independent. QCars refused me to speak to the assessor directly. The name of his company is not on Google. The assessor uses WordArt on his report. A child in Grade 3, with respect, can do a better job in the design I don't recommend this dealership at all. 1st contact point cannot tell whether their is a connectivity issue when the user is clearly having issues. 1st contact point cannot give you an estimated time when you'll be contacted by who your call has been escalated to. In previous calls, I've been told that Rain won't even alert you when their is a tower down.. You'll just see when you aren't able to do anything. I am not asking for a lot. Rain must just communicate. But in anycase, it's not the first time I have posted them on this website. They don't make contact Don't waste your time

I phoned Miway and asked for a copy of a phone recording between them and myself. I followed up the call with an email. That email was sent on 11 December. I followed up that email with another one on 24 December. Not a single response and what worse with this company is that they not even responding to emails sent, but they are very good at sending emails on your anniversary telling you that you getting an increase. If they don't want to give me the recording just tell me instead of saying that you'll send it through.
