Pools were under maintenance and that's the whole feature of the resort. Was only stated in very fine print on my confirmation email, after I paid obviously. Secondly, there were alot of ****roaches. Thirdly, I requested clean linen. I was subjected to a whole lot of embarrassing questions as to why I needed it and in the end I was told in a very rude way that I have to pay for it. I don't understand, I am a paying guest. Having to pay for clean linen is not a huge issue but the mannerism in which I was told was outright despicable. I also barely had access to the jacuzzi, everytime I asked for it, it was booked. And it was non peak I booked in, so I don't know if that was true. There was a power failure as well, no generators in the room. Reception staff were helpful but that's where the goodness stopped. Other than that, don't recommend.
I just visited the Truworths at the Oval mall in Ladysmith. I am appalled and disgusted by the guards attitude. The closing time advertised is 5pm. It was before 5 and the door was closed. I tried to appeal to her, I knew exactly what I wanted, I would've still been in and out before 5. But she refused to hear me out. She opened the door for a customer to exit and slammed the door shut on my face. I still tried to talk to her and she blatantly ignored me. I am disgusted. I am a loyal customer, I shop there all the time. When I walked past the store 2 minutes later, she was explaining very politely to a black couple that the store is closed but I could not get the same courtesy because I am not black? I am disgusted, besides this being racist is it not unethical for a customer to be treated in this manner? I will never shop there again!!!!
Absolutely pathetic experience. On Friday 25/10 I placed an order at 9AM. The order was to be delivered at 12, and mind you it was a huge order. It was for over R800. At 11.45, I did a follow up call and I was told that the meals are on the way. I waited right until 12.45 with numerous calls to the call centre where nobody could give me an answer. Eventually I asked the agent to cancel the order. My entire office had no lunch. The driver pitched up at 1.30 with the order. I refused to accept it. I am absolutely upset. This was ridiculous. I don't understand how an order that was placed 3 hours in advance got messed up. And a huge value order too! Is this the standard of their services?
I booked movie tickets online. The page was loading for a reference number for an hour before it closed. Money was debited from my account. I have since tried calling the cinecenter a number of times. I have called suncoast directly as well. No joy. I keep getting cut off by the agents after holding on forever. I am extremely upset.
I have purchased a microwave from Game in Durban, City View Mall. It was exactly 4 months old and I noticed rust developing on the interior. Since then, I have called the store numerous times. I have dropped it off more than 2 weeks ago and have been calling daily trying to get some feedback. I have been subjected to holding, calls being transferred from department to department. I have even called defy directly and still no avail. I am appalled, a microwave is a necessity, not a luxury. I paid my hard earned cash for it. The service I am receiving from both game and defy is putrid. I will certainly never be shopping there again.
Last week on the 30-06-15, I reported a fault with our ADSL line. I did emphasise that we are a business and we cannot work without internet. I was told 24-48 working hours. I have since been calling repeatedly. Everyday. Minimum 3 times a day. I still have no feedback. I have left messages for supervisors, all the call centre agents are saying the matter is escalated and they cannot help me further. I am appalled. It is one week and nothing has been done whatsoever. For such a huge company?
