Worst possible quality and service, 4 (3x150l and one 100l) geysers burst within the 5 year warranty period and not replaced under warranty, latest one the agent claims they cannot read serial number on the tag although insurance and plumber invoices show date of replacement - 2 different properties that I own. Now sitting with a 18 month old 150l with a leak and not heating up ... A german made geyser I had in the one house lasted over 20 years with no trouble! Stay away from Kwikot unless you want the worst quality and really poor after sales service... I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY KWIKOT OR ELECTROLUX PRODUCTS
WORST possible experience over an 11 month period, RUDE , ARROGANT staff and a totally disfunctional business. Do yourself a favour and also look at GOOGLE REVIEWS for scores of customers who have had similar bad service and worse. They will bill, harass and blacklist you for service you have not recieved and management will not be available to speak to nor return your calls. Pathetic business, don't believe the nonsense good ratings. Avoid, there are far more competent, ethical and decent service providers out there
Snowball Internet service is poor with regular outages and below contracted line speeds. Numerous complaints by myself has not improved the situation and the unreliable connectivity has resulted in direct losses to my business. After complaining about poor speed for past 5 odd days the download speed is now so slow that I cannot actually use the internet. Management does not return messages nor are they ever available when called. If you have any reasonable alternatives I would suggest you avoid Snowball - my experience covers several years and the issues are just getting worse.
Over the past 15 years I have regularly visited Saigon when in Cape Town and always found the food of a very high and consistent standard. Service has also been consistently good and as I have travelled very extensively in Japan, Hong Kong and other regions in the far East I can unreservedly say that Saigon serves amongst the most authentic and best food of its kind in South Africa. Highly recommended.
The worst experience ever! trying to claim and a get a claim settled on a Hospital Plan. Call centre virtually impossible to get through to and eventually after months dealt with Loretta King who, after providing her with additional information asked for, simply does not respond to numerous emails! Pathetic "service" and after having had this policy (and never claimed before) for 20 odd years I will cancel this as it is useless. This saga has now carried on for 4 months for a small claim - it appears that the whole claims system is set up to frustrate policy holders and avoid paying claims.
Mercedes C220 cdi had waterpump failure at 60 312 km which was replaced by Mercedes in June 2013. At about 88000 km new owner noticed slow coolant loss. Mercedes diagnosed water pump failure again, less than 30 000km after previous repair and insists on owner paying 40% as per service plan or they will not complete the work. This is clearly not a service plan issue - this was either due to another faulty part or poor workmanship and Mercedes should, without trying to pass the buck and aggravating the customer, replace the item free of charge. I own 3 Mercedes cars and will not consider buying another if this is the way Mercedes now operates.
I bought top of the range Acer Aspire S7 from Canal Walk CNA. Machine developed a problem and was handed in to same store for repairs under warranty. This is a work machine and as I do not live in SA really important to get sorted quickly. Major hassle and aggravation including just being left hanging on international calls to CNA canal Walk I have now been told that Acer needs a new cover and I will only have the machine 6 weeks after handing it in for repairs. Whole experience very poor and no one taking responsibility. DO NOT BUY ACER AND DEFINITELY NOT FROM CNA if you want to avoid huge aggravation including no one wanting to provide Head office numbers to lodge complaint.
