I've been a **** victim this week of Unity Pool Tables. I referred to the references on hellopeter in order to see if I can trust them. The moment I paid for the table on Monday I got notification from their freight company - Pure Line Logistics - that I must pay: "1) Refundable Insurance Cover: ZAR 2,999 (This amount is fully refundable upon the successful delivery of your goods). and 2) Police Clearance Certificate: ZAR 1000 (A mandatory requirement for compliance" I suspected I had been duped. The table was supposed to have been delivered yesterday. They don't answer the phones, emails or messages. I will now be opening a ***** case with Nedbank and with the SA Police. DO NOT TRUST THE REVIEWS ON HELLOPETER. IT'S A CON ACT!
September last year I ask MTN to move my line from personal to business. What do they do? They replace my Personal line packages with Business line packages, All of them - but at the same time do not migrate my contract from personal to business. And it's IMPOSSIBLE to get this sorted out at head office. They are just too inept to resolve the matter. Migrating my lines to Vodacom!
These guys who operate from the Reeds, Centurion are flybynight ****mers. Fridge stops working we get them out to repair, they replace a supposed faulty component for R1400 - fridge doesn't make cold. We get them out again they literally destroy the backboard of the fridge by installing an aftermarket condenser - askew mind you - nearly cause a fire in the process by ignating the gas from the cylinder and to top it all off - fridge still doesn't make cold. Upon informing Chris Nyati the Zimbabwean who runs the **** that the fridge is still not working it turns out the operation is not in the Reeds Centuion, but in Tembisa - and he refuses to come and repair. So steer very far clear of these Zimbo ****** and ****mers - they will take you for a ride!
I ordered a new Rain 101 14 March 2024, it still has net been Delivered. When I tried to call in 2 weeks later - when you eventually get through to someone the moment they have to identify themselves or you dont understand what the information is they want they simply put the phone down in your ear. They could not be bothered. By the 4th time I had to call in I asked the person where I can lay a complaint - they told me straight : hellopeter. So here I am.
I met with Konrad Geyser on a Tuesday morning regarding an urgent requirement I have for custom furniture. He promised me he would have a design ready by the Friday. Friday morning he says he doesn't have time to attend to it I can take my business elsewhere. I should have known when I went to the SI Digital office in Highveld Centurion and the Intercom didn't work with a sign saying the intercom has always been broken you must hoot for attention that it's a chancer operating the circus. And it is a circus, with the ringmaster being the chief clown. Enter his premises at own reputational risk.

1-grid is the worst domain host in SA! They wait until 12:00AM on Saturday mornings before they F you around with disabling services. Twice in two weeks this has now happened, and I have a credit with them! Never on a proper business day, always on a Saturday 12AM so you have to wait 3 days to get it sorted out. I have multi-million rand clients hosting websites with me you fools! And they have absolutely zero support - for an international domain host - over a weekend. Bunch of incompetent assholes!!!!
I have business insurance with Virseker. Their service on the Business side is lower than pathetic. I have been writing in, and phoning in, and trying to get answers about my claim for MONTHS and MONTHS now to no avail. You can't speak to no-one. You can't gee see anyone. Just avoid them at all cost.
Beside Still Waters, Candace and her "chucker" (what a joke) need to change the name of their "hotel" from boutique hotel to lousy hotel. Upon arrival the chef was manning the security post. Once Candace took the time to talk to us we could see that Candace is a bit of an uncooth fishwife. So we decided that we don't want to make a room booking, and elected to leave. But that's when they started to harass us as we're walking away to get to our car, walking and shouting after us as we are attempting to leave in peace. Then started acting as if they are now chucking us out and they don't want our business and we better leave or else. Candace kept coming closer and closer to my wife as she was waiting for me to pull my car out. The partner/chucker put his finger in my wife's face and intimidated her while I rushed to get the car to my wife. Once I got the car to my wife they started shouting profanities at us as we waited for their excuse for a "security" gate to be opened. Then tried to punch me through the car window as we managed to escape their property. Running after me into the street even as I tried to reverse and get my wife to safety. Slamming his hands on our car's bonnet. Clearly, it's a couple of low-life scum of the earth characters that run this hotel who have their friends write reviews for them on travel websites, they're a pair of unprofessional and backward characters, their facility is subpar. Even the area the hotel is in feels a bit scummy. But it fits the type who operate there. Unsuspecting travelers. stay away!
It's been 2 days and about 10 phone calls to Standard Bank's various lines and no-one can sort out my Internet Banking profile.
