02/04 Call out scheduled: assessment done. 09/04 Returned with parts, however pipe not included so couldn't be completed. 11/04 Called to install. Did not test. (10:30) Tested machine myself and found it to be leaking. Called technician to inform him that machine is leaking. Was asked where the leak is and that he is in Boksburg and cannot come back to help. (11:04) Laid complaint with company receptionist (14:10) Received call from Accounts Manager saying he needs to verify if the machine was tested.
I placed an order on 29 November. It says the order will be delivered by 2 December. I haven't received any updates since the order was packed on 1 December. I just receive automated messages on WhatsApp when I request updates. Upon phoning the call centre on 14 December, I was told that The Courier Guy had picked up the order but not assigned a driver to deliver it and I was given a waybill number. When I tracked the waybill on The Courier Guy website it said that the delivery had been cancelled due to failure to collect the order. Now on 17 December, the Makro website states that the order was completed.
I reported a fault with a washing machine on Friday the 3rd of March. It has been 2 weeks since then and I haven't received any communication about when a technician will be coming to repair the unit. I have since called the customer care line on four different occasions. I was told that my phone went to voicemail, however, I haven't received any missed calls. Yesterday I was told that the matter is being escalated to a manager and that I would receive a call from a manager which I never received. It seems as if nobody is willing to assist with the repair. It appears as though Defy want the warranty to expire before they do anything so that they can charge for the repair. I am extremely disappointed with the service, or lack thereof, that I have received. Today I was finally contacted by a technician who said he would be here in an hour, three hours later and I'm still waiting. Obviously time flows differently in the world of Defy or they simply don't care about after sales service.

Cape Union Mart sell great products and offer awesome service but they are terrible employers. They blatantly breach contracts and don't pay their employees their full salaries.
Yesterday I placed an order online for delivery and received a messaged stating that the Bedfordview Debonairs had accepted my order. This Debonairs is only 4 kilometers away from my house and therefore falls within the free delivery range which is the reason I chose them. After an hour past I phoned the Bedfordview branch trying to figure out why it takes an hour to make 3 pizzas and deliver them 4 kilometers, the man who answered the phone asked for my phone number to check the progress of my order and then told me that he didn't have any orders for my number or address. I told him that I had placed the order an hour ago online so he checked again and again said that there was nothing. About 10 minutes later (the time I expect it to take to travel from their store to my house by moped) my order arrived. In addition to me having to wait an hour for my pizzas, the crusts were soft and soggy. This, along with the fact that my order was conveniently delivered 10 minutes after I called leads me to believe that my order was forgotten about and only sent out when I called. I'd say that Debonairs can't deliver ****erally).

I sent my phone in for repairs on the 17th of September 2016, we are now at the 18th of December (3 months later) and my phone has still not been repaired. It was returned unrepaired by the repair centre although it is insured. I found this out by visiting the Bedford Centre store myself because they never contacted me. 3 different consultants have "attempted to help" and the only useful one has been Bheki, I have been to the store about 6 times and nobody but Bheki has ever been of any use.

A guy named Artwell McKenzie contacted me in regard to an olx advert for my Xbox 360 Elite. I told him that I wanted R2500 for it and he agreed to pay. He \did"an Internet transfer and sent me his proof of payment in addition to the text I received from Nedbank. I thought that this was proof enough and agreed to meet him. I gave him the Xbox knowing that the transfer would only reflect on my Standard Bank account in 2-3 days. The amount has still not been received and it has been a week. Obviously Artwell McKenzie won't answer my calls and texts. I recommend that before selling anything to people on OLX or any other Internet based buying and selling site make sure that you received the payment first. """
