I had the most terrible service at Ackerman Atlantis mall. I had forgotten my card at home and went in-store to make a purchase and ask for a replacement card. I was told by the cashier that I could not make a purchase and had to apply for a new card and wait for the card to be issued before I could make a purchase. I asked her what was required of me to be able to make a purchase, her response with an attitude was that I should go home and get my card
I ordered a box of noodles from Makro on the 19th of December 2025. Today even after me writing a review and a customer care agent contacting me (only after me writing a review) and promising to escalate the matter i still havnt received the noodles or heard from Makro since and today is the 06.01.2026
Ordered a box of noodles on the 19.12.2025 delivery date scheduled for the 30.12.2025, today is the 01.01.2026 no delivery and no update from Makro
Dealing with italk has been a terrible experience. I never received a router that I had ordered online and received a letter from them in September confirming that the router had been returned to MTN. Despite numerous emails and correspondence with ITalk and Mtn regarding this matter I have been billed for this router and the payment I made for my mobile router has been put onto payment for the router I never received and my current internet has been suspended due.to no fault of mine
Router i ordered through them from mtn was returned in September 2025, got billed for router in October. Never any response to my emails asking them to rectify their fault
This is the worst customer service I have received. I purchased a Playstation that cost R15 999 and this was payable over 6 months and I still had to pay a delivery fee of R650 on top of that. On purchasing the Playstation I was told that I would get 2% cash back once payment was completed and 2% for payment on time. I have now completed my payment and despite numerous emails and whatsapp messages I still havnt got clarity about this cash back. I have had to call the sales lady that I purchased the Playstation from and despite her friendliness has never got back to me, I have been the one to whatsapp her daily with her promises of her getting back to me. I find this terrible as I have paid almost R20 000 and the least I expected was efficient customer service
It is now going on for 3 weeks since I app**** for an account with Woolworths and when tracking my application I find that everything has been verified besides my I.d even though biometrics was done. This is shocking for a store such as Woolworths
I app**** for a woolworths card almost 2 weeks ago. I got an email saying my application had been approved and I should go to the nearest store to pick up my card. I went into the Woolworths app and checked the status of my application and according the the app all that was left for me to do was do biometric verification which I tried but no luck (note that I am a 67 year old pensioner with no transport and live in Atlantis which has no Woolworths) I used public transport to go to the Branch in Cape Town. When I got there I was told that the financial department does not operate on weekends and was there for approximately 2 hours where I was made to wait while they were supposedly trying to get assistance for me. After about one hour the assistant called me to do my biometric verification after which I still had to wait only to be told there was nothing they could do. Today is Tuesday the 10th of November and still my verification. Is still in process. Is this the normal procedure for new accounts, where you are treated like Woolworths is doing you a favour. Please note that I was left sitting for almost 2 hours while other customers that came way after me were being attended to
What a terrible experience i have had with Leroy Merlin. I ordered and.paid for a toilet on the 29th of September. I received an invoice stating delivery for the 4th of October. On the 6th of October.i called Leeoy Merlin to enquire about my delivery and was told that they didnt deliver on weekends and was assured I toilet would be delivered on the 7th of October. Come.the 7the of October and after 3.pbone calls to their customer.service where the first agent promised to call me.back and never did. The 2nd agent left me holding for.8 minutes without getting back to me and.the 3rd agent put the phone down on me. Today is the 8th.od.October and still no toilet and I have received no update from courier service who apparently broke down on their way to deliver toilet.
Had a plumber from somewhere else that made.a.total mess. Contacted Anthony handyman services from Bark.com and was pleasantly surprised at the understanding and sympathetic ear they gave me. They even went the.extra mile to help resolve my problem. Thank you very much Anthony handyman services for going beyond.your call of duty to help me.
