We agreed to the 15 day free Prime Edreams membership. After a struggle of not being able to contact their offices (they simply do not answer phones and their AI bot is purposefully programmed to ignore phrases such as "cancel" and "complaint" ) we eventually figured out how to cancel the membership on the app prior to the end of the 15 days free membership- to spite this eDreams still went ahead and deducted the monthly subscription from our bank account despite us canceling in time. They do not answer their phones or AI bot- it is simply impossible to contact their offices to sort this out. It is going to cost us to cancel our banking card and report eDreams as a **** company in order to stop this *****ulent company.
We had a booking to rent a car with First car rental. On landing at George airport we come across a small line at the counter, the only line of all the rental agencies. After about 30 min of waiting we are helped. We are told they don't take cash but can not show us where their policy says that they don't take cash, fair enough. At that time we start noticing the other people complaining how this is the worst service they have ever received and how can it take and hour to get their car. after a vast amount of hidden fees we decide on the spot to cancel. The rude behavior and terrible service of the team and the managers has put me off from ever using them. The amount people that joined us on the spot to hire a car from their competition was staggering, these people stated that they waited for almost 2 hours and still had not gotten their car even though they pre-booked. I would rather walk than hire from First Car Rental
I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. They partnered us with 1First car rental, the absolute worst rental experience of my life. The experience was so bad we had to cancel the hire right there in the airport. I contacted Economy Car Rentals to ask for my deposit back. To date the only communication I have received back from them was a questionnaire to ask if I would recommend them to anyone. Absolutely appalling
We have relocated to a new address in Moreletapark Pretoria and applied online at Telkom to relocate our line. We have waited more than 3 weeks for an sms to be send out that our line will be installed. It stated that we had to make ourselves available from 8am to 6pm on the 25th of January. We naturally had to take a day off of work to be available this time which we did. Came the 25th of January-no one showed up- no sms, no explanation, nothing... We called in to ask what had happened and the one agent gave us the statement "the technician had to first do checks in the area and it had been escalated." We called again and another agent told us that the technician phoned us and logged a missed appointment- this was completely untrue as no one phoned us and we were home the entire day. Eventually a week later when a technician did come out he came up with the excuse that he cannot install our line because he is going to upset the fibre connection of our neighbors downstairs and for him to install our line he is going to have come back on Monday once we have arranged for our neighbours to be home that day. We have painstakingly arranged for our neighbours and ourselves to be home on a Monday but once again- the technician didn't bother to show up. We phoned in to find out why this was and once again the only thing we were told was "the situation has been escalated" . Honestly, I think this is a ploy by Telkom to stretch out the time that we are paying for the use of a line without there actually being any line- yes, we we still had to pay the use of the line in full for this time. There is no contact number or email that you can complain to. Honestly, what this country needs is for another company to break up Telkom's monopoly because I have never seen a more corrupt company in my life! Can someone please comment on where I can find an appropriate authority to report this to please?
My previous dentist retired and I broke my tooth on a Friday afternoon. No dentist was available in Pretoria and the only one who was charged over R700 for a consultation fee and did not take medical aids. Luckily someone told me about a dentist at the Hillcrest Boulevard Centre called the "Walkin Dentist". She was very friendly and helped me immediately. She was very gentle and her tariffs was very reasonable (they charge medical aid rates plus a 30% co-payment which ended up being only R250 or something like that.) The dentist even gave me a quote beforehand and asked permission for any work to be done- the others just do anything and only afterwards you discover that you were ripped off. Quality service dentist, quality service practice- I will never go to any other dentist in Pretoria.
I recently upgraded my web package to uncapped ADSL but since then i have received ridiculously low internet speed during business hours. I have tried to contact my nearest mweb branch in Parow numerous times but the phone just keeps on ringing even after a half an hour and I still have not received any responses to my emails. I was once successful in getting through to Mweb where a Ms. Zaida Allie answered the phone. I calmly explained my situation but then I received the rudest feedback I have ever received- Ms. Allie said that it wasn't her job to keep the customers happy and that she was only there for the staff of mweb. She further said that the only reason she picked up the phone was because everyone was on lunch. She further said that every service provider has slow internet connectivity during business hours and that I had to be \realistic"about the product that I purchased. She then hanged up the phone. """
