Exceptionally happy with my recent purchase from Blinds Online. Placed my order on the 11th of April and it was delivered to me on the 19th. Blinds are a good quality and fits perfectly. Very easy to assemble too.
In November 2018 I phoned Telkom to cancel my ADSL and voice line, I was switching to another service provider that offered me a better fibre option than Telkom. I was told that it takes 30 days for the cancellation to take affect as this was known for the “notice period”. Telkom never crossed my mind again until end of April - May 2019, when I received a bill of R5500.00. On 13 May 2019 I phoned the billing department again and spoke to a lady, Thandaswa. She told me that this was extremely odd, as she picked up that my account was closed in December and that the billing should have stopped. She said that this was not something she specializes in and promised to escalate my query. As promised she mailed my issue to “ Fixed Retentions Escalation “ . 1 week later, on the 20th of May 2019 I eventually got contacted by Nomthandazo Nxele (N), this person did not even bother to get the full nature of my complaint and asked me whether I want to cancel both aspects of my contract and that I may be billed for 2 months after cancellation, but this could be back dated and credited accordingly. I responded with an email the same day. On the 22nd I got an sms saying that I have been handed over for this account. This really pushed me over the edge as I’m trying to build a good credit record, I want to buy a house. Now Telkom is jeopardizing this for me with their incompetence. I again mailed Nomthandazo Nxele (N), with the same explanation. To this date, I have not had correspondence from Nomthandazo Nxele (N) again. The sad thing is Telkom will probably not even look at this publication, if they do in fact... they will not even respond. This is the type of company they are. They have the monopoly. No one can touch them. And customer service is not an option for them. They see it as a waste of money.
Absolutely NO service over the weekend! When you call them they say that they are committed to giving the best service there is. Please do not believe them! If you are a general 8-5 worker and normally sort out your personal problems over a weekend, then this is not your service provider. Online support, all offline. Whatsapp support, nonexistent.
A few days ago I complained to thihs franchise about lack of service but if I can criticize I must also be able to compliment where it is due. Sandwich Baron Edenvale has one of the most great full and positive delivery guys that I've come across. Next time I will get his name but shucks... this guy... every time I tip him he makes me feel like I've solved world hunger (meantime I've only solved my own hunger). He is really a champion in what he does. Always a smile too.
When one uses a courier service it generally means that you have a package to be delivered, sometime more often then not it is urgent. I'm based in the Edenvale area and yesterday tried to contact our courier guy for our specific area 3 times... The guy is there to offer a professional service but does not answer. I then thought to myself maybe he is of sick or something so I contacted H/O @ 11:05, I got transferred to some guy (I wish I took his name) that said he will take the booking for me and advised that my parcel will only be collected after 1, to which I responded is fine.. they never pitched.
Placed an order on the 15th December... Money is unavailable from my account and not even an order received report. After holding on for a combined total of 30minutes and 3 emails across 4 days I am fed up with this pathetic company!! If you want to compete with the big dogs you beter have the staff and system to handle it. ZANDO adverts on every website daily but can't handle the pressure!!
