Telkom - How Many Times Must I Send A Death Certificate To Get A Contract Cancelled
Loosing a parent is one of the hardest parts of life. Continuously having to email her Death Certificate to Telkom is draining me emotionally. All I am wanting to do is cancel her data contract and every time I email with the reference numbers Telkom ask me to resend her Death Certificate and all the same documents which I have been sending for weeks now. Telkom, please consider a person when dealing with a death and think how it affects a person having to resend Death Certificates and documentation concerning the death constantly when these have been sent so many times before. What more am I meant to do to get my deceased mum's contract cancelled.

Talksure Sa / Cubix - No Customer Service
My mother passed away in March 2026 and the debit order for my parents GAP cover is now not going through as her account has been put on hold. I have emailed several times to find out how to change banking details as we still need to claim for expenses before she passed and to keep my father covered on the Talksure ELIXI GAP Cover but even though my emails are acknowledged they simply don't seem to want to assist with advising how to amend banking details even though they promise a 48 hour turn around time. They are very efficient to send emails about not receiving the debit order but are simply not efficient when it comes to wanting to assist by sending details on how to change banking details. It is an emotional journey loosing a parent and one should not have to struggle with a company to get details amended.

FNB HOSPITAL CASH BACK PLAN WANTS TO KNOW YOUR TEST RESULTS AND HAVE A COPY OF YOUR HOSPITAL FILE BEFORE THEY WILL LOOK AT YOUR CLAIM
I have a Hospital Cash Back Plan with First National Bank. In order to claim, they are asking for a copy of the Hospital File as well as my daughters Tests Results amongst other documentation. I have just gotten off the phone with FNB and they insist on the these documents before they will process the claim. To my knowledge the Hospital will not release the Hospital File as this is where the Specialists write their notes and comments and this is confidential. I am not willing to allow for my daughter's Test Results to be submitted to a Banking Institute as these are confidential. I am also not sure how I will get these are Test Results as they are not given to us when we leave the Hospital. All we left with were her x-rays but there were no notes with her x-rays. How can a Banking Institute ask for this information in order to get a Hospital Cash Back Plan paid out. FNB are so quick to deduct funds every month but they are making the claiming process impossible. I honestly feel that the above requested information is an infringement of our privacy. I don't want my daughters medical records being left on someones desk for others to see because that is often what happens with paperwork or for computers to be left open for all the view. Does FNB not worry about the privacy of a person's medical condition and respect it. Please also note that nowhere when the sales person was selling me the policy did they advise that I would have to submit this information when claiming. If I had known that I would have to submit all this information I would not have cancelled my previous cover and joined FNB. The previous Cover only asked for the Hospital Admission, they did not want to poke into our privacy and know test results. Would FNB Management like their staff knowing medical conditions and test results of their family members just to beable to claim for a Hospital Cash Back Plan.

No Notification of Banking Details Changing
I received an SMS advising that I was outstanding on payments and my chronic medication not covered by Medical Aid would not be dispatched. On querying this as I have been making payments I was advised that their banking details had changed. I had not received any notification that their banking details had been amended and now have been advised that "I’m assuming you have paid it into the Standard Bank account which we’re no longer using and you either need to go to Standard bank for a reversal or speak to your bank and get the funds returned". Surely Pharmacy Direct would still keep their old Bank Account active for such cases like this. I will now be sitting without my Chronic Medication as I cannot afford a Double payment and who knows how long it will take to get this mess sorted out.

Lancet Handing You Over For Unsent Account
Good Day How can Lancet Laboratories hand you over for a 2023 account which you have never received. I have never received a phone call to query the outstanding payment. I have never received an email to query the outstanding payment. I am not impressed that I have been handed over for an account I never received nor received any form of follow up emails or phone calls requesting payment.

RCS - Biggest Harrassment Company In South Africa
RCS are nothing but a harassment company, trying to ****** funds from people and more people need to speak up about the mistreatment and the inaccuracy of their accounts. They constantly harass me for payments on my Makro account when I have paid my account. They demand that I pay before my payday when I have already paid the account for the month. They are the reason I will cancel my Makro account once it is paid off. I never swear but today I found myself swearing on email as I have now officially gotten to breaking point as once again they are demanding payment for an account I have already paid. Makro is going to loose clients because of them. There is so much stress and anxiety already in our lives and we honestly don't need RCS to constantly harrass us for payments already made and demand we make payments before payday. I dont know what more to do to stop this constant harrassment from RCS.

Vodacom Loan Phones
I upgraded / migrated my contract on 18 December 2015. The day after I took the phone back as the back would not close. I went back today as the Samsung J1 takes 3 - 4 hours to charge and then is dead again within a few hours. I battle to hear on it and the handpiece gets so hot I cant hold it. I was told I needed to book it in which would take 5 days to be assessed. I explained that I have a cerebral palsy child with a heart defect and prone to seizures so cannot be without a phone and asked for a loan phone. They honestly dont care and said they dont offer loan phones and I signed for the phone. I did not sign for a faulty phone. My old phone was blessed to someone else. Should I book my phone in and should something happen to my daughter and I am uncontactable or cant phone anyone for help as I share a vehcile, I will honestly never forgive Vodacom for giving me a dud phone which I had to send in for repairs.
