This company ****med me into an interest reduction **** to reduce the interest payments on my home loan. They pretended to be affiliated to ABSA bank. When they gave me their terms and conditions I did not accept it and told them they must cancel which they said I'm able to do anythime. They put a debit order on my debicheck account and I'm battling to get it revoved. They don't pick up their phone when you call them and most contact numbers don't work. Through WhatsApp I managed to make contact with them and they said the cancellation is at their cancel department. I'm still battling to have the debit order removed days later.
I was ****** and my ID was ******. ABSA emailed me to say they need my FICA details again that never changed. My salary gets paid into ABSA and my home loan is at ABSA. They wouldn't accept my old ID or Passport for FICA. I emailed them that I'm applying for a new ID but I won't have it in time for the deadline they gave me. Now they are threatening to stop transactions on my account. This I feel is completely unacceptable.
Changing your banking details is impossible to do. After trying to do this on their website that doesn't work when you try to do it, emailing the required documents also doesn't work. It's literally the worst service I received from any company in my life. After a phone call, still nobody can help me. Stay clear of getting health insurance from Discovery Health.
We always had good service from them until now. We sent stationery packs to a school in the Cape on the 2nd of February. It's now the 8th of February and the packs are still waiting in their Johannesburg hub. I called them 5 times, 4 of which I was cut off after waiting a long time. They said they will call me back and I'm still waiting for them to do that.
I placed an olnine order for plasters I needed after surgery on Saturday the 4th. I still haven't received my order. Besides their horrendous online ordering service the local Clicks that I go to lost my prescription 2 times. I'm thinking about using Dischem in the future.
I ended up having nothing that I wanted to watch on Netflix, so I cancelled my subscription. Netflix automatically renewed my subscription and money went out of my account. I never thought a company like Netflix would use cheap underhanded small print to take money out of someone’s account after they unsubscribed. This will happen to many subscribers, it’s bad and unethical business practice.
I'm not getting my Tax Return back from SARS. Every week they send me this message: Dear Taxpayer, your Income Tax refund for 2********* is on hold due to your banking details being in the process of verification. We strive to complete the process within 10 working says. #YourTaxMatters. They have my correct banking details, my accountant sent it to them months ago. When I email them they send me query case numbers then do nothing to resolve my tax refund.
This is the third time they issue me a card where it gives me an error message that the cards chip is damaged when I try to use it at an ABSA atm machine. It only works with other banking atm machines. Also, their business debit cards don’t work. This is Africanacity in action!
Our company supply schools. We use Sage Pastel Online Accounting to do quotations and invoices for our customers. The 17th of January 2021 Sage 'Úpgraded' their program and now it doesn't work anymore. This is after Covid 19 lockdown negatively influencing our business and we can't send quotations of invoices to our customers during the time of year in which we do 90% of our business. This is completely unacceptable. It is now the 26th of January and we still can't log in to do business!
At first I got excellent service from one of their sales people, but soon after that everything collapsed. I instructed them to change my debit order to another account which they failed to do. It took them about a month to fix this, in this time they also changed my debit order to cash instead of changing it to the account I had given them. My fiber line installation was a temporary one because the pipe in which the line must pass through collapsed. I have been battling from the 3rd of November to get them to move the line to a permanent location. The line currently passes over a piece of my neighbours property that is threatening to cut it now leaving me without internet. I need it for work, tv and music. Somebody from Vox, if I remember his name correctly, Hennie told me they already escalated my request and I should not email or call them again. This happened on the 9th of November and still nothing has happened. I don’t believe in paying for a service if you don’t get any service at all. I closed my account today and I don’t believe they can charge me till Feb 2021 when my contract expires because they forced me to subscribe with another company because my line will be cut by my neighbour and I then wouldn’t have the service anymore.
