I am still waiting for my pension fund withdrawal after being told the process takes up to 30 working days. It has now been well over 30 days, and I have received nothing. This experience has been extremely frustrating, and the service has been far below acceptable standards. I will never use Sanlam again — this has been the worst service I have ever received.
I've app**** for an account more than 6 months ago which was declined due to insufficient information provided and I was advised to re-apply 6 months. I've re-apply on the 4th of Jan 2025 via WhatsApp and submitted all the required documents even getting confirmation from the BOT that all my documents were received and will get feedback via SMS. I only got an SMS asking for the same docs sent via WhatsApp to which I've resent to the email docs@tfg.co.za and still no feedback. I've then called and to my surprise another decline due to insufficient information/docs not received. This is by far the worst service I've received from a service provider. I am so disappointed by this service.
I've traded in my car to the dealership in 2023 Aug-Sep which had a tracking device that I paid for in 2021. The car was no longer in my name however, I still received an account from Netstar in June 2024 with an outstanding amount of R140. So, I called to inquiry only to be told I was still contracted with Netstar even though the vehicle is in the new owner's name, but I was promised this was an error and it will be rectified but I shouldn't be liable for anything. Months passed by I'm still receiving notices that I'm in arrears. This company is a rip-off, how can you tell a customer they don't owe anything but you still sending bills monthly? The departments are not talking to each within this organization.
So I saw Pampers selling for R179 on the weekly leaflet then I've decided to go pick n pay clearwater mall where I was told the same Pampers on every paper they had was selling for R179, I had to wait for 30 minutes for the manager to confirm what was on their promotion if it was selling for R179. I eventually asked for my money back and went to clicks where they were selling for R199. I will never ever trust what's on their promotion ever again.
3 times I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to be attended for a card collection while other people that arrived after me were assisted within minutes after arrival. This happened at Clearwater mall FNB branch.
December 2021 I had a road accident and immediately called Budget Insurance who was quick to assist with road assistance and I was taken home safe and my car to the nearby mechanic by a tow truck. Called back in few days and was advised they were busy with assessment for my claim, fast forward to February car was apparently fixed by the Mechanic Budget Insurance chose but now there was an additional problem so I called both Budget Insurance and Fleet VIP solutions for an update only to be told Budget Insurance is not entertaining the additional work that needs to be done on the car so I was confused as the car was driving perfectly before the accident but now I’ve been going back and forth with no solution and the worst part if you ask to speak to the assessor at Budget you always and I mean always get told Dumisani is always busy and will get back to me. We need our car as my wife will be going back to work in few days and we assumed when we chose budget it will come to the party when we need them the most but now I’m doubting even continuing with my premiums for a car that is sitting by mechanic for almost 3 months now. I am extremely disappointed by the conduct of this company called Budget Insurance.
I have recently settled my personal loan and asked for paid up letter and was told will receive within 2 days but to my surprise when I called to follow up I couldn't get hold of anyone as the lines go on mute and the time I get hold of someone they talk over me without listening to urgency or concern and this time told it will take 10 working days for a paid up letter. I need to get my paid up letter as like yesterday so I can close my other accounts and noone at Nedbank takes this matter seriously. It's very frustrating dealing with Nedbank.
Settled my account in February 2021 and got an sms from the lawyers that i was owing in August, never even received monthly statements from RCS BUSBY from February and when i contact them i was sent from pillar to post and still to this date i havent received any comms regarding this error if it was fixed or not.
My account was settled early this year and i was not using the account for months and was not even getting statements from VIP only got an sms from the lawyers that i am now owing so i called VIP who keeps referring me from one person to another and giving me referrence numbers but still not reversing the amount they claim i owe. the service is bad and tiring.
I recharged with R12 and bought daily bundles for R6 for 60mb but within a minute all my airtime and data was depleted but funny thing i did not use it for internet all i did was to turn on my what's app which strangely it actually took all my 60mb data and R7 worth of airtime but i only received 6 what's app texts. Funny enough i tried to buy 50mb for R3 for an hour just to be sure it wasn't a glitch but again it depleted my 50mb in less than a minute so i called the call centre and they couldn't help all they said was it was my internet but how can 110 mb be depletedin less than a minute this is very strange and since i am loosing money in this i like to warm everyone not to use vodacom until this issue is resolved and i get my data back. Now i am broke because i used all my money to buy data.
