Horrible experience with Connect Financial Solutions, bought a bed from Bradlows costing R6599 over a 6 month interest free option and I put a deposit of R3500. If I enquire my balance I'm told I owe R5256, what kind of nonsense is that?
Well Loot did it to me as well now, I placed an order on 19 December 2020 and they said there were gonna be delays because of Covid and estimated that I will receive my goods on the 8th of January 2021, the 8th came and now they say the 12th of February...they refunded me for 1 item of which they claim the supplier no longer has stock. These guys have a way of ruining your plans.
I'm having billing issues with MTN on my data contract, I signed up for a MTN Choice 50GB package and it apparently expired on 20 November 2020 according to the tweet I received from them today where I was paying R469 and instead of notifying me they decided to bill me R1619 on 02 January 2021 that's over 3 times the normal amount with zero communication...so much for a telecommunications company.
My Vodacom 5GB data contract account expired 31 March 2020 and it fell on a month to month basis after that, I continued with the payment until I sent a request for cancellation on 31 August 2020. The last debit was on 01 October 2020 and for some reason the amount totaling R1.68 was outstanding and on the last statement they put a note saying any outstanding amounts will be debited on 02 November 2020 which never happened. I've never missed a single payment on this account and now Vodacom has ruined my credit score with just R1.68, when I contacted them on Twitter I was tasked to make a payment of R5.00 which I did on 10 December 2020 and I still haven't received a settlement confirmation to this day.
Where do I even begin, I've never been so embarrassed in my life, Clicks online shop made me look like a fool. I placed an order online on 2 December 2020, I bought an item that I wanted to use as a gift for a friends birthday which was on 14 December 2020. The guy flew down from JHB to Durban to celebrate his special day with us and I didn't have a gift for him. Their online tracking system says the ordered was captured by the courier on 08 December 2020, today is the 16th and I still don't have that order. I'm never trusting your service ever again, I learned the hard way.
Hi,

My name is Khulekani Ngcobo and I just wanna say that it's been a nightmare dealing dealing with Affinity regarding the claim. I met with an accident on 14 March 2016 and submitted a claim on 15 March 2016. Till this day nothing has been finalized, it's been over a month now and they say they are still requesting documents from the bank. When I asked what documents are outstanding they told me a settlement letter, I phoned the bank immediately after I spoke with a lady named Candice Storm from Affinity and guess what, it only took less than 5 minutes for a bank to send me the letter and then I forwarded it to Candice so that the claim process will proceed. Now she's telling me that she's waiting for a copy of a car registration from a bank and it's been a week now. Please bare in mind that this whole time I'm the one who keeps phoning to find out about the process status. I get no feedback at all from them. On the 26 April 2016 will be the second time me paying for a car I don't own anymore because of the slowness of this process. I got three other family members insured with them and they will pull out soon.
