I hope you are well. I am highly disappointed in the assistance I received on Friday 24 November 2023 at Lakeside Mall after my car was broken into. I understand that the mall has a policy where the customer who has been a victim of crime is not allowed to be shown the security camera’s till they have opened a case and the IO comes and requests the footage. This policy is truly not in the best interest of your customers, it is rather in the interest of the ********s. This gives them the opportunity to avoid law enforcement. I truly believe if the footage had been looked at when I reported the ********s who broke into my car could have been apprehended. I know for a fact that I was not the only victim on Friday and perhaps if the mall security not necessarily myself had looked at what happened to my car this could have prevented other customers from falling prey. Please find the attached document as to what happened on that day. The purpose of this email is not to get the mall to replace my lost belongings but rather to tell you that your policies are not in the interest of your customers but rather the ********s. At 16:30 I parked my car at the underground parking near entrance five. I got my handbag from the boot and ensured that all my doors were locked after locking. I went to fetch my little sister from Shoprite with the groceries and we went back to the car. We approached the car and as I opened the boot the alarm went off. We then loaded all the groceries inside the vehicle at this point all my contents including the laptop was still in the car. I locked my car and double checked that the boot and the doors are locked because the alarm had gone off when we initially got to the car. We then walked to Game Store. While at Game store I was not feeling well and told my little sister that we should leave the shop and head home. She went straight to the car and I went to the bathroom. When my little sister got to the car she unlocked the vehicle using the remote she then realized that the cover of the boot was not the way we had left it. She went to the boot, opened it and realized that the bag containing the lap to was not there. At this point it was 17:30. She gave me a call and I quickly rushed back. We had checked that the vehicle was locked before we left so we did not understand how they got in. We inspected my car and found that the driver’s side of the door had been tampered with. I have also inserted a video showing that the lock on my door no longer works. Mall security had been called and the car guard was also asked what happened. He says he did not see anything. The security refused for me to see the CCTV. I was told I can only see the footage after opening a case and the Investigating officer accompanies me. I opened a case at the Benoni Police Station
My husband and I have been trying to buy a vehicle for the past week. The initial car we had come across, some one beat us to buying it. We then found another one but someone else also purchased it before we could. On Thursday, 28 April, we met Kgotso Hlahaswane a sales man from We Buy Cars - the Dome. He went above and beyond for us. He even knocked off late to ensure that we do not lose the third car we wanted to purchase. He is a very skillful sales man and very pleasant. He made sure that the processes is not only seamless but very pleasant. He made sure that we were treated like royalty. Keep up the good work.
I am so disappointed in the service I have received from Sanlam so far. I resigned from my job, the North-West University in December. My last day was 31 December. I had asked that a portion of my pension fund be transferred to Sygnia retirement annuity and the other portion I wanted to cash out. Till today I have not received anything. During 15 January I received an sms stating that they are processing my claim and it should be finalized within four weeks. This week I checked if they had transferred to the Sygnia retirement annuity and nothing has been sent to them. All my documents have been sent. They were sent in December already from my side. I had initially asked Sygnia to try claim the portion on my behalf during December. So for over two months Sanlam has failed to pay me what is rightfully due to me. I have seen another lady complain about this very same situation. I dont understand what the delay is.
My mom who is a pensioner has a Foshini account. Foshini illegally added some insurance premium to her account. She has went to the branch numerous times to cancel this R37 insurance, without any joy. Since last year. How can a business of your magnitude take money from a 65-year-old woman who receives a government pension. You should be ashamed of yourself. Then you threaten to blacklist her even though she has told you to cancel this policy
I have a lone with capitec. On a monthly basis I pay extra into the loan. During March my interest in the loan was R1300 for April the interest on the loan is R1328. How is that possible especially because the interest should decrease when the Capital amount decreases. Why is it that the interest rate increased. To top it off I call your consultant and after realizing that I am in actual fact telling the truth she put the phone down on me. That's disgusting.
I purchased a fridge at OK furniture Potchefstroom. But wanted to collect the fridge at OK furniture Bochum, in Limpopo. Reginald and Jacob from the Potchefstroom branch really went out of their way to assist me and ensure that the branch in Limpopo will have the fridge I want. I have never met such friendly sales people who go out of their way even when the sale has been completed. Superb customer service.
Inno and Kearabetswe thank you so much for the wonderful service. I had my insurance reviewed by the two ladies. They were not only professional but also extremely friendly.
I paid for a couch at the end of October at your Potchefstroom branch. It is three weeks later and I still have not received my couch. But you have my money. I want answers and your staff is not very efficient or helpful. I call head office and you dont answer or when you do you send me from pillar to post. You forget I am not getting this couch for free I actually paid for it.!!!!!!
So in February I went and took a home refurbishment loan at cashbuild, the loan goes through Nedbank. After the loan being accepted. I decided that it was not feasible for me to take so i went and cancelled it. I wrote my letter of cancellation and my documents were sent to head office. To my surprise my account was debited this month by Nedbank for the loan I cancelled. I contacted them and they said they did not receive my documents saying I want to cancel but they received their money back, fishy much? Anyway i resent the documents last week and still have not been repaid now i am busy calling their accounts center with no success. I will fight for my money till i get ut.
