Gave Johan a steering box for a minor modification on the arm which involved some welding. Long story short Johan doesn't keep to his word regarding keeping a client up to speed regarding progress of the repair nor when the part would be ready for collection. Called numerous times and still waiting for a call from him. Worse still the part was not repaired correctly and is useless to me. Will be taking in again to to a different place to correct his mistake - R800 wasted.
Recently had my 18v battery drill pack up on me after some really hard work over a period of about a year(I'm in the handyman business). I returned to the supplier where I had bought it who gave it in to Ryobi to be fixed. Two weeks later I received a brand new replacement, no questions asked or any cost charged, This to me is just awesome service and backing up of their guarantee that comes with the purchase of their products. Well done to Ryobi, there aren't many companies out there who do the same.
I've been doing handyman/home improvement work for the last couple of years and have dealt with most of the big hardware suppliers on the East Rand. The two who have really stood head above shoulders are Mega Mica East Rand Mall and Airfield Mica Dal Fouche in Springs. Even though I'm a small scale operator these two branches have given me excellent service delivery and after sales service. Well done and much apprerciated.
<p>I've been unemployed since 2015 due to retrenchment but have fortunately managed to keep my payments up to date most of the time. However there were times where I was unable to make payments but I would rectify as soon as I could. </p> <p>I am once again a month in arrears and made have spoken and made arragements with numerous people at MFC regarding getting my account back up to date.</p> <p>Now I would like to know from MFC why they sent an agent(Kobus) who tried to sucker me to voluntary surrender my vehicle and after I refused he then threatened that he would come back with a court order ,....... WOW.</p> <p>Now yesterday Kobus once again paid me a visit and left a note in my post box informing me that MFC had issued me a Sect. 129 notice.</p> <p>I would like to know what is the use of making the necessary arrangments regarding getting my account back on track when it's obviously a waste of time if MFC send out the vultures to reposses even though a person is only one month in arrears and have made payment arrangments with them.</p> <p>VERY POOR SERVICE AND LACK OF CONSIDERATION TO THEIR CLIENTS FROM MFC!</p>
<p>I was retrenched last year April and to date am still unemployed so obviously struggling financially. One issue of mine is that big business in this country are ignoring the plight of many who are in financial distress due to the crumbling economy and simply hand over the bad accounts to a debt collections agency such as MBD.</p> <p>Staff from MBD offices who call me on the phone are utterly rude and unprofessional to say the least. Last week after a female from this office asked me how I was currently able to get by financially and I told her that only through the grace of God I'm managing to put food on the table. Her response to this was I should ask Him to pay my Woolworth's account as well ........ utterly disgusting! When I asked her for her name she put the phone down. MBD also charged me a R472-53 monthly admin fee for telephone calls/correspondance! </p> <p>It is disgusting that this collections agency prey on people who are are already in deep financial difficuly due to reasons beyond their control.</p>
<p>And employee of MFC called me regarding an arrear amount of R475 on my vehicle account and when I asked him to explain how this is possible as my car payment is paid via a debit order he said it was for a telephone call MFC had made to me. Serious?</p>
<p>My account was recently handed over to a collections agency due to arrears of just over a hundred rand. I have repeatedly requested a detailed statement from this collection agency as I'm not in agreement of the arrears but all I've got so far is just more bombastic and rude calls demanding payment from this department and have yet to receive any statement. As a customer I have the right to query and request a statement. </p>
<p>Consistant harrasment to family members by this law firm. FNB unable to exercise control over them after issueing instructions for them to cease immeadiately. Shockingly poor conduct/service from both parties</p>
<p>This firm has repeatedly totally ignored instructions given by FNB to immediately stop sending out embarrasing SMS's regarding my financial affairs to my family. They also have a serious internal communication problem as most times it's often not the same person/s I spoke to before and is very frustrating and confusing as I get different information regarding the same issue I'm trying to resolve.</p>
<p>My account was handed over to FNB attorneys Brooks & Luyt due to arrears which I was not aware of and also never notified of by FNB. These arrears were caused due an error by FNB debiting funds from my account which should never have been debited in the first place. Then the lawyers started sending out very embarrasing SMS's regarding my account to my family. I lodged a complaint together with a dispute with FNB about this and was contacted and received an appology together with the assurance that they would instruct the lawyers to immediately halt with this really shocking practice. However this instruction was ignored and I lodged a second complaint. Well Brooks & Luyt totally ignored the second instruction from FNB as well and just increased the SMS's once again to my family ... utterly disgusting!!!! I have informed Brooks & Luyt that I am currently in a dispute with FNB regarding this matter and lo and behold yesterday my family once again get an SMS stating that summons against me has been dispatched to the Court & will be served by the sheriff?????? THIS IS A RUDE, EMBARRASING, DISGUSTING AND MOST SHOCKING SERVICE GIVEN WITH TOTAL DISREGARD TOWARDS A CLIENT AND BANKING CONFIDENTIALITY! </p>
