i bought a cellphone on 12 august. they sent me a used phone, with other people's information still on the phone. i returned it on 13 august. i took a picture of the takealot driver, holding the phone, and original box, with accessories. the driver lost the accesories. takealot refuses to refund me, and sent me the same used phone, which i confirmed with samsung south africa, is 2 years old. Furthermore the very same phone is non-functional, and has a broken screen, and seems to have software issues!!!
bought a few wifi cameras. delivery was a bit delayed, but i got them. then i discovered that the cameras were locked tot he country of manufacture, ie china. requested refund from alexbender. they ignore me. attempted to contact them on email, and phone calls and whatsapp. they do not honour the guarantees. presently, i am in the process of taking it further.
Webafrica you are cheaters and liars. I ordered a service on 23/11/2022 sla was breached. install was not completed within 14 days. ultimately, when install was done, i got a download speed of 90mbps, when i had asked for 1000mbps. i complained, and the technician came back on 03/01/2023, and now i have download speed of around 900mbps, even though the order was for 1000mbps. your staff are slow, and poorly trained. i paid for the router to be delivered, even though i specifically said i do not want your router, as i have my own. it is now sitting useless in a cupboard. if you cannot deliver the speed you advertised, you are in breach of contract. furthermore, your sla was breached, therefore a credit is due to me. i demand that you honour your guarantee, and pass the credit for the breached sla, following which my speed needs to be brought up tot he expected, failing which my monthly subscription needs to be appropriately adjusted downwards. Should this not be possible, pls take your router back, and release my line, so i can continue the service with a more reputable provider.
waiting for a refund for item never collected from the store. its been 2 weeks, and there is not even a reply to the enquiries i sent by email.
been a user for many years. cant make payments now. contacted customer care multipple times. no resolution. now no response to my emails either. pathetic. they cant even fix a glitch in the system.
very disappointed with lack of service from your establishment. I paid for a reservation, came in as per booking, then had to cancel and leave immediately, due to unavailability of appropriate seating. i requested a refund, which was agreed upon. i have contacted you multiple times, requesting the same, and have been ignored. u were quick to take my money, but seem greedy in not being willing to return it as agreed upon on the date of reservation. poor show by yourselves.
my tracker not working. requested a new unit 3 months ago. still no intallation. so i asked for cancellation, because they cannot deliver the product i am paying for. still they ran another debit order from my account. i shall be laying fraud charges shortly. i demand cancellation of the debit orders. i also demand refund of all monies that was deducted unlawfully.
I paid in february 2021 for readymix (about 90k). they are unreliable, and did not send the order on time. They delayed, and made excuses, resulting in me losing almost a week. was forced to order at a higher price from another supplier. Then i could not get a refund, due to constant excuses they wanted to audit their books, to make sure that i had paid them the claimed amount. I finally decided to use them for the credit, since they refused to refund me after almost 3 months. So i placed an order for the available credit. their delivery was very slow, around 4 trucks arrived to pour over a period of about 4 hours.. the pump was left waiting for almost 45 minutes at a time. They packed the pump and left, before the pour was complete, saying that they had another pour to go to. unreliable company. I have the paperwork to prove my allegation. do not deal with them if time and punctuality is important to your project.
i purchased a car charger. upon receipt i returned it, without opening the sealed packet, since it was the incorrect connection for my phone. the packaging was still sealed when the driver collected it from my home. then i get an email that the item was returned without the charger. the driver obviously stole the cable. takealot cannot provide a photo that the driver took at the time of collection.. this just proves that the driver did this intentionally. how can we send back the items in future, trusting that the items will actually not be tampered with!!
2 weeks after first complaint. still waiting. pathetic service delivery. disgusting attitude from a company that does not care to keep its customers.
