Freedom Won do not honour their Gaurantee and Warranty!!! They have had my battery for almost 4 weeks. They initially said it would just be two weeks max, they do not give any feedback and they just provide generic responses with no true ETA. It was my worst mistake selecting Freedom Won 15/12 battery for my home solar system. Their products are inferior despite the hefty price tag. I was told the price is high because you get what you pay for, but this is so untrue. They are corporate *******. It has been another two weeks an NO BATTERY HAS BEEN RETURNED. FreedomWon batteries are NOT made in South Africa, they are branded here but the are Chinese batteries. They have know the cells in my battery need to be replaced for 3 months and yet they are still waiting for stock. This when they are supposed to be making the batteries. They are just a front and they DO NOT DELIVER ON THEIR WARRANTY OR GAURANTEE! Serial number: FW2021-17464
Standard Bank - Margate The bank breached confidently by allowing my siblings to make changes to my mom's account, without having any of the required power of attorney or letter of appointment as executor of her estate. Changes to the account were made by Standard Bank after they provided false evidence and half truths to my sisters. The same attorneys that dealt with my dad's estate in 2023,were engaged to deal with my mom's estate and had already stated the legal process of being appointed as executor of the estate, when an employee of the bank caused chaos. We are holding Standard Bank Margate directly responsible for the loss to my mom's estate by their breach of confidentiality, mismanagement and their slanderous statements. Not to mention their failure to comply with the laws around deceased estates. Standard Bank - Margate should not be trusted with your finances or your estate, they are a danger to every thing you hold dear.
Leroy Merlin are ********s - They ***** your money and never deliver the stock. Order placed: 31/08/2025 Expected Delivery date: 4/09/2025 But I am still waiting I started following up with the call center on 5 September. Eventually on 8 September the Boksburg branch phoned me and said they would deliver all items ordered (except 2) that they had in stock and the balance would be delivered once they receive stock. That delivery was supposed to happen on 9 September. I have phoned and sent emails and like all **** websites, I am just getting the run around. I needed the stock on 6 September, which is why I ensured all items are in stock and that the expected delivery dated is before that. Leroy Merlin is a **** and they run their business like all these websites that ***** your money without delivering the products you paid for. Their inability to keep track of stock and manage their staff performance, causes damage to their customers and costs us significant amount of time and money. I paid contractors to install the products, that they charged me for because they arrived and Leroy Merlin did not.
I had an order placed on Saturday morning. The delivery was scheduled for 11-12. It arrived around 2pm. The order excluded 2 x 18 Pack Baby soft toilet paper and 3 x airfryer liners. I have CCTV TV footage showing that the driver delivered 5 bags from his car, he never opened the boot of the vehicle. The toilet paper is large packs (18 rolls) and each and would therefore not fit inside the delivery brown paper bags. I immediately phoned the help line to report the missing items, as I assumed the driver just neglected to unload it from his boot. I was told by the call centre that they will phone the store and find out if the items remained in the store or was goben to the driver. I received a notification yesterday that the case has been closed, despite not receiving the R500 refund / voucher or a delivery for these items. It is a crime that they are allowed to just ignore it when I followed their reporting process immediately. Pick n Pay stole my money for items they never provided.
Ordered products for the pool on 23 Dec 2024. I received completely incorrect items (Cordless drill and batteries) instead of the 6 x HTH products that were paid for. I sent a photo of the products received along with the order details showing what was ordered. I was told Leroy Merlin Boksburg would reach out to correct the error. It has been two weeks and my products have yet to be delivered and they have not made any effort to refund me or to make any arrangements. My email and cellphone number is on all my messages and yet Boksburg store make no effort to have this corrected. They are absolute ******* and based on the reviews here, I am one of many people with this experience.
No way to log a repair for an extended warranty purchased at the same time as the AEG Washer /Dryer combo. I bought an AEG washer/Dryer combo on May 2020. At the same time I bought a 5year extended warranty from Makro at their Germiston store. The guarantee from AEG was for 3 years and that expired in May 2023. When I phoned the call centre their told me they are unable to assist me with a repair ticket against my extended warranty, because they only support online purchases. I then had to phone the Germiston store and spent over an hour on the phone, because that person had no clue what I was talking about. She was also not able to give me a reference. I then phoned the call centre again, got the reference number #3566623. But of course it was logged incorrectly and when AEG phoned me to arrange a call out, they said Makro did not record the extended warranty and have said that I need to pay for any repairs due to initial manufacturer guarantee having been expired. Makro has no way to log a claim for extended warranty and they sell us this service that they have no intention of providing. Makro is shocking and their call centre and business have no intention of providing you with any extended warranty.
Wesley and Vitex solutions were paid for 2 borehole surveys 2 months ago. They are yet to provide a report which was due on 15 June. They do dissappear with your money without rendering the service and providing reports. Do not use them for your water backup/borehole solutions. They will just dissappear with your money and stop taking your calls.
I bought online on 13/11/2022. On 16/11/2022, the Boksburg store made contact to advise that they did not have stock of 1 x "Hedge Clipper, Hedge Shear, GARDENA, 2 in 1 Energy Cut", the logged a refund on the Leroy Merlin system for finance to process. I have sent 5 emails following up, I called the call center and was dvised that the LM finance team had a massive backlog. I was assured on 14/12/2022 that the refund would be doen via EFT within the days. This has also not happened. Do not buy online they are crooks - they take your money despite and never deliver the products or your refund.

I bought online from Makro on 21/03/2020 (estimated delivery 2-7 working days) , after they took more than a month to advise me they are unable to provide some of the items, I asked that the order be canceled. I have sent numerous emails and received a few calls and every time I say that I am waiting for a refund they say they will phone me back and I have yet to receive my refund. It has now been close to 5 months since payment was made. Their service is pathetic and they have effectively stolen my money.
