Do Not use this company. They take your money, lie about stock availability. Do not reply to emails and heaven forbid: try calling them....10 minutes of annoying music and no answer. Scam company. STAY AWAY!!!!
So I order the Tanglewood TWR2SFCE with abalone inlay as per the Takealot advertised guitar. Specifically because of the abalone inlay. Today I go to the pick up point and the box it came in is damaged, the guitar has dirty hand marks on it, the strings are rusted and low and behold... It's not the guitar I ordered. No abalone. Anywhere. But the ad on Takealot clearly shows an abalone inlay. I email the full story with pictures and receive a response to return the item as someone made a mistake in the warehouse and that they do have the correct item. Then I receive another email asking me for the same detail and photos. You made the mistake Takealot. You fix it.

Look, we love this place. The ambience, the staff and service is great. But really, who is not doing their job in regard to procurement? The first time we were there on 15/10 there was no Savannah, no Castle Light and no Lamb Burger. The second time we went there on 17 Oct 5:15 pm there was no Coke Zero and no Paninis. This is such a nice place, that is being ruined by a lack of stock management.
DO NOT USE VUMATEL. WE WERE TOLD AN INSTALLATION MANAGER WOULD COME TO SWITCH ON OUR FIBRE LINE. THAT WAS EIGHTEEN DAYS AGO..... AGAIN WE GET A CALL TODAY SAYING THEY WILL SEND SOMEONE. THAT SOMEONE IS THE SAME AS YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PROBLEM SOLVING CAPABILITES - NON EXISTENT.
We have our router but as confirmed with Vumatel the flashing blue light and no fx light on the Vumatel white box, means there is no fibre signal. So the call got escalated and a technician would be sent from Vumatel to come and switch on the fibre or fix the problem. It is now 7 days later. The call has been escalated four times and no one has come to fix the Vumatel problem. Can you now pretty please, with sugar on top... Please stop "escalating" the call and escalate a technician to our residence and come fix the problem.
I ordered an item from overseas from Dressinn. It was supposed to have been delivered on the 10th of May. I have been to the post office in Cresta and have the post office app on my phone. And the only feedback I get is this "Item has been returned from customs".... Wow, and now, is it just going to stay on this status forever ??? I will collect the item myself or even pay someone R 100 just to actually bring it to me before the winter is over. Honestly.
Beware. Do not order from this company. I placed an order with them and I have not received my item. There is no contact email or number you can call or someone to assist once the item is "apparently" in South - Africa or when there is no promised delivery . Bye bye R 1475.00.
On 7 May at 2:30 am R 146.72 was fraudulently taken from my account by card usage. I have now called the card fraud number 7 times to report this and to stop it from going through. To no avail. You hold on for up to 20 minutes and then when you choose option 1 to leave a message it says mailbox full. I want that money paid back asap and you to fix the pathetic card fraud service.
I am absolutely disgusted. Your "miway" client skips a stop sign, drives in front of me and I am sitting with R 12328.42 of damages. There was no stop sign in the road I was on, I had my brights on, I have a witness willing to testify that your client did not stop at the stop sign, and I even pressed my hooter to inform the lady that she was supposed to stop. But she just carried on. And now I have to suffer because I am now the guilty one... And here is the joke at my expense... "miway" is offering me R 2830 for damages. Please note that I will now handle this through my attorney as your offer is a mockery.
