took my car in May for repair , all been asking from them is damage report as the dealership needs it so can trade in the car 4 days later get to be put from pillar to post the so-called Shalaine phone is never answered get cut off reception cannot access their system promise me daily that will be sent till to date . now have to sit call them daily and no answer . even aske if i should drive to them email sent still nothing

Deeply Frustrated – Poor Workmanship and No Accountability I am beyond frustrated with both Pineapple Insurance and Proline Autobody. This is now the second time I’ve had to reject my car because of the same issue — poor and uneven paintwork that clearly shows a lack of quality control. What’s even more upsetting is how much this has affected me financially and emotionally. I’ve spent months without proper use of my car, constantly arranging alternative transport and losing money in the process. Every time I think the issue is resolved, the car is returned with visible paint defects and unfinished areas — it honestly feels like no one cares about the customer’s frustration or inconvenience. I trusted Pineapple Insurance to appoint a reliable panel beater, but this experience has been nothing short of exhausting. It’s disappointing that after all the back-and-forth, the workmanship still doesn’t meet the most basic standard expected from an insurance-approved repairer. I hope both Pineapple and Proline Autobody take this seriously and understand the financial and emotional impact such negligence causes. Customers deserve better — honesty, accountability, and a job done right the first time. Truly disappointed and emotionally drained by this entire experience.

The most *********** panel beater i ever dealt with. After a massive hail storm on 13 Nov 2023 In Midrand JHB, my Insurance company ( Budget Insurance) told me to take my vehicle for repairs to Proline. done so and more then a year after the first 2 attempts of fixing my vehicle it has to go back AGAIN due to the roof leaking...doors not lining up etc etc. After the first "repair" i got the vehicle back with so many issues there wasn't enough space on their fault report to write everything...one of the main things was, they replaced the roof of the panel Van, and did not even bother spray painting it on the inside...just left it black as it comes from the factory...even though my original roof came fully painted from the factory. not even to mention all the other faults and short cuts that were taken. They claim to be Ford certified...but that is debatable. Till this day i have never received a call from Proline management to sort out this mediocre job they done. I insist i want similar vehicle for loan vehicle due to their own incompetence and not sorting out my vehicle the first time...NEVER EVER USE PROLINE!!!!! Last i hear from the representative in charge of my repair was on 28 May 2025 almost 2 months of NOTHING...rain season is approaching...

Worst customer service experience I've had to date with Renew It/Proline Autobody branches (sadly not the first time either so it warrants the complaint)... 1. Poor customer service in managing expectations and/or keeping to their own timelines or communication processes 2. Never available to attend to calls or queries after customers are forced to follow up on the status or progress 3. Never seems to be an escalation or another person to help... Vehicle repair quality was poor. Upon return seems like they can't fix their own problems and then further inconvenienced me by telling me to wait 5 days for my vehicle to be attended to by a 3rd party due to their finance agreements with 3rd parties. This afternoon spending 2jours waiting at the branch for a 15minute fix then waiting another 6 hours to hear nothing was done in.my absence/after leaving the car there.

My car was repaired by Proline Autobody between Dec/Jan after I had an accident. Presha Maharaj was my Advisor/Agent and she was amazing at providing feedback. The WhatsApp updates were amazing, as was the website tracking tool. After collecting my car, which was super clean, I realized I was missing my gym equipment. Presha looked for it and kept it safe for me. The treatment as you walk through reception is amazing as well. I recommend Proline Autobody!

I am happy with service I have received from Proline Autobody. I was updated of every stage that my car was undergoing. My service adviser was Rethabile, she was available to answer all my questions whenever I made a call. Her communication via email and phone was on par! There is no doubt that I would recommend Proline to friends and family.
