Misrepresentation | Tricks | Delays in authorising refund
Property Fox showed us an apartment that we liked and upon signing the lease and going for handover, they gave us a different apartment that was not only dirty but had broken cabinets and sliding doors. Basically, the agent tricked us into signing a lease by showing us a good apartment knowing that the one they would give to us was broken. We then had to fight with them to get our refund. When they eventually sent the proof of payment, we realised they had sent it to someone completely different! I'm not sure if this was another trick to frustrate us or if it was a genuine mistake. But I am shocked at the incompetence running all the way through to the CEO!

Unethical business practice, I AM PAYING A BOND WITH NO KEYS TO ENTER THE HOUSE AFTER 2 MONTHS. Lied about the house/papers and being up to date.
Unethical business practice, Lies about the property, papers being up to date, no keys 2 months after registration of the house. It took nearly 2 years to complete the transaction. Even if it's the last house available on the planet, do not buy with this company, nor Louwrens Viljoen nor Elizabeth Lourentz who handled this transaction.

CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT SE GAT!!
This is SELLERS dream agent!!! BUYERS BE AWARE!!! They protect the seller MORE than the buyer and WILL actively do so till the end. READ YOUR CLAUSES BEFORE ENTERING ANY AGREEMENT WITH THIS ****HEADS!!!! They protect their seller completely and not the buyer AT ALL!! MY COC was invalid!!

Dont buy from home owners trying to sell through PropertyFoX! Property fox facilitated the sale of a property from a certain seller to myself and there was obviously no due diligence whatsoever in terms of what the seller was contractually obliged to do (electrical certificate in this case). As a seller you can obviously go with these type of companies as in a good market you pay little commission and can basically hand over whatever type of fly by night certificates you feel like at whatever cost. but Buyers beware!! Cost me 20k in getting the right certificates after the fact. Dont buy from home owners trying to sell through PropertyFoX!

Dont buy from home owners trying to sell through PropertyFoX!
