It was my first time lodging at the Radisson blu Gautrain hotel and it’s certainly the last. I killed a big roach I saw crawling next to the mini coffee station. I immediately removed all my belongings from their cupboards. Worried my belongings may have been contaminated. I’ve had the pleasure of staying in various hotels, this has been very disappointing. I called the reception desk to inform them. I pray they take it up and fumigate their rooms.

The waiter named Mpho M, we went to her counter to try and order food, she was playing her tik toks and laughing paying us no mind even after we greeted she ignored us and continued with her life, when we placed the order she kept scrolling on her tik tok and laughing, took one look at us and continued with her business. Kept saying she wants to knock off now repeatedly, told us to go sit down she will bring the pre ticket.

Awful awful experience. Would Never recommend or visit again! I HAVE ALWAYS STAYED AT RADISSON HOTELS EVERYTIME I TRAVEL, EVEN IF IT’S A SMALL GATEWAY, BUT TODAY I HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY STAY, 1st TIME STAY AT THE RADISSON GAUTRAIN AND THE GM WAS UNBELIEVABLE AND RUDE. CHECKED OUT BEFORE TIME, ABSOLUTELY ANNOYED BY THE MANAGEMENT AND SERVICE. WHEN I COMPLAINED ALL I GOT FROM THEM WAS A TURN DOWN IN MY ROOM “USING SOME OF MY ROSES” AND NO FEEDBACK, WHEN I BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION.. I WAS TOLD THEY’LL REPLACE ME WITH A BUNCH OF ROSES AND NOTHING MORE THEY CAN DO.. NOT EVEN GETTING A FULL REFUND AND I HAVE JUST STAYED A DAY.. I DID ASK FORY FULL REFUND WHEN THE GM ASKED WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE IT RIGHT AND HE SPOKE LOUDLY AND RUDE SAYING I DISRESPECTED HIM FOR ASKING FOR REFUND. We left in tears and sad, I would never stay there again or would NOT recommend this particular BRANCH No one must be treated like they way we were.

My Wife and I booked in to Radisson blu gautrain hotel for our valentines. The Welcome was that you would expect from a bnb. The problem started when my wife was making a cup of tea, the cup had a huge crack. I called the reception. A housekeeper brought the cup by hand no tray nothing. I couldn't believe my eyes. The bathroom tiles were dirty. We went for breakfast in the morning The poor chef was overwhelmed by the number of guests. He had to make eggs and attend to the empty buffet. I don't know how many stars this hotel has but the overall service is below that of a 3 star. My overall take was that it's a hotel that consist of poor management team from the food and bev, front of house to the hotel manager. It's a mess. I was highly disappointed. When I left I was sure of one thing, I was never ever gonna set foot there.

My wife and I booked away for the weekend to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. When we arrived at the hotel firstly there was a party going on with no one wearing masks and no social distancing. We get to our room and the sheets where dirty with food the tables stained with coffee. The manager sorted us out in a new room which we appreciate but that shouldn't be the case in the first place. Then the breakfast. We had called the front desk and told them we are Muslim and need the meal to be halaal however we were told we need to speak to the chef when we arrive for breakfast. The chef didn't even know what the meaning of halaal is. The sausages where half cooked. There was nothing but eggs and sausages to eat and they charge you R136 a breakfast. I think for the name this place carries its horrid I rather stay at holiday Inn express and get better service

After sending my complaint the Manager then emails me and says i should please email him as he would like to ask me a few questions regarding the service and to award me a complimentary supper but he gives an email Address that no longer exists ! How pathetic after stating customer service is Key
