Bosman Plumbing are rude and do not acknowledge their mistakes
I have previously had excellent service and paid the day of invoice. They had to come back 3 times to find the source of water damage and should have found the issue before it became even bigger and caused a lot of ceiling damage. They have the facts wrong about opening a box for the piping to be inspected and the fact they failed at seeing the hole the first time is being charged to my account. I told them about marks on a downstairs ceiling and opened the piping box in my upstairs bathroom, more than that I couldn’t s**** feed them to do their job properly. I just expect a humble acknowledgement that they missed the source of the water and they will carry just their invoice. I could sue them for ceiling damage too.

Bosman Plumbing Constantia: zero value and abysmal customer service
I would never use Bosman plumbing (Constantia) again. They arrived, heard exactly what I told the woman when I called, said they couldn't help and recommended getting a leak detector. Then we got a bill for R780. When I queried what we were paying for, I was told multiple things that were flat out wrong (like that I had been informed of the call out fee -- nope -- that they had rectified the problem -- nope -- and that I told them the issue was a faulty valve -- nope, because we had just replaced it!). From there, they brought up threats. Zero value and abysmal customer service. I mistakenly called this company rather than Clyde Bosman (Lakeside), who have been great. I won't make that mistake again!

Reliable
Have used them a few times - always turned up about when they said and got the job done. It's worth getting a second quote for big jobs: recently I had several things that needed doing and for some of them RC Bosman was much cheaper than another plumber and for others they were much more expensive.

Appalling service from Bosman Plumbing (Constantia, Cape Town)
Bosman Plumbing (Plumbing & Renovation Services) in Constantia, Cape Town, South Africa gave me APPALLING SERVICE. Outsurance required that I use them to replace the element in my geyser. Firstly, Bosman refused to replace the element without also replacing the thermostat even though I had a new thermostat installed a week before Bosman was called in and I informed them about that. Secondly, Bosman did not ***** in a device properly after installation, causing the passage below the geyser to be flooded. I had to wait an entire day before they sent someone to fix the problem that their employee had created. Outsurance undertook to pay for the extra hours billed. Yet, I received a bill from Bosman for extra hours and the replacement of the thermostat (in addition to the element). The work was done less than a month ago; they invoiced me just over a week ago, yet they've been harassing me for payment.

Watch these plumbers carefully
RC Bosman's plumbing is, in my opinion, overpriced, and their book keeping is abysmal. I have had dealings with them both for private work at my home, and in my capacity as the chairman of the Body Corporate of a Sectional Title Scheme. My experience of the former concerned a recommended geyser replacement which turned out to be a faulty pressure valve (at home) and continual invoicing for work paid for by EFT on the day of completion (RC Bosman's requirement) at the sectional title block. There are a number of competent plumbers around, with competent book keepers. In my experience, RC Bosman is not one of them.

BOYCOTT RC BOSMAN PLUMBING
NEVER EVER USE RC BOSMAN - they are useless, cannot clear drains and dirty guest room without permission. They do not use the correct tools either - standard hand held equipment from noah's ark. BEWARE OF RC BOSMAN PLUMBING!!!
