Renew Hair Dye Disappointment
In May 2025, I purchased a box with the wrong colour. I use blue black and my hair came out orange!! (Partly my fault, as I never did the test. I never do. I have been using the same colour for years and have never had an issue.) I got hold of customer service, the lady was friendly and helpful and sent a voucher which I collected at Postnet. Unfortunately the voucher has no number on and was not accepted at any of the stores allocated. I got hold of Renew again and thd lady said she will replace it. September 2025, I contacted them again after not getting any feedback to be told they are switching to a digital system and she will get back to me as soon as possible. It is now November 2025, still no word or response to any of my WhatsApp or emails. In addition to this every time I have purchased this product this year, the amount of dye is getting less and less and not enough to cover all my hair!! (My hair is shorter than earlier this year too!) I do not recommend this product.

Defective product that I am questioned about regarding a refund that they don't wish to assist me with!
I have never ever complained about this product! However, yesterday I had purchased a box of it from a store near to me. So I used the product today to strip the hair colour as I usually do! The reason for choosing this product was because I never had a problem using the product before. But, after my hair not getting stripped right and showing in patches means states the obvious that the product is defective... And, all I did was ask for my money back because not only is the product defective it's also not catching onto my hair and giving the slightest hint of blonde! And yet these people from the company have the audacity to call and do an interrogation call asking me question upon question trying to make me second guess myself especially now because I'm like intoxicated with medication. So , because I am doing that they are questioning me and manipulating the situation! I just want my money back because the product is not working simple and it's on top of that causing me to have a reaction! These people have no remorse, no mercy towards another human being and what did I ask for what was rightfully mine? So, I'm going to take this matter up I am going to go to the doctor and they will fit the bill as they don't see it fit or feel responsible to reimburse me for R100 they will now have to pay more once bloods and things are done to state my reaction and why

Defective product that I am questioned about regarding a refund that they don't wish to assist me with!

RENEW HAIR COLOUR WRONG PRODUCT IN BOX
Twice in 12 months have I bought Renew hair colour light brown 6.3 and my hair came out purple....both times have I reported it to the customer service and they have done Nothing...both times I had to get my hair stripped and coloured again by professional.....shame on you for ripping us off like this 🤬🤬🤬🤬

RENEW HAIR COLOUR WRONG PRODUCT IN BOX

Mixed up in dye color packaging
I bought Ash Blonde renew hair dye and I went to a professional hair salon for them to use the Ash Blonde on my hair after the process and following instructions but my hair came out blonde. I think they messed up the hair color as they were packing the product because my sister used that same dye and it came out totally different from what mine looks like.

Gloves left out of hair color box
This is the 3rd time I have opened up a Renew hair color box, only to find NO gloves have been packed in the box! This is the very last time I EVER buy this product. I'd rather pay more for another brand, and know that they have not forgotten gloves! This has never happened to me with any other hair color brand. No wonder RENEW is cheaper. You get what you pay for...

Incorrect Colourant packaged causing irreversible effect
I have been a loyal customer of renew for quite a while now, always buying the same product, your No:10 light blonde. I bought this box at Checkers Hyper Sandown yesterday and app**** it this afternoon, only to find, at my horror that it was the wrong Colourant in the box. (Light brown) Which is actually Dark brown after application, considering my hair was blonde before I app**** it. After 15 minutes of application I realised that my hair was going darker instead of lighter. This is hugely unacceptable!!!!! I had to return the box immediately and redo my application but the blonde did not take because the brown has to be professionally lifted now, before it can be blonde again. I will never trust this product again!!!!

Renew Hair Dye
Renew Hair dye! Horrible Horrible experience I have been using Renew hair dye for almost 7 years, but all of a sudden since last year December eveeytime time I use it my head feels swollen and itchy, extremely uncomfortable, not sure what ingredients they have changed but it's terrible Not recommended! Please beware

Renew Hair dye! Worse Hair dye ever!!!
Colourd my hair on Thursday, now I buy renew because I've always used it..so I colored it and once rinsed my head started itching, swelling I then rinsed it again ND washed it it was itching again so Friday I washed it again ND then my head started swelling Saturday was worse it felt as if someone hit me all over my head the way the pain had me plus the sides of my face was swollen, Sunday stolen again, this time worse than previous day, Monday morning my whole right side eye was swollen to the point where I couldn't see, I was rushed to the hospital where I was put on a drip and given medication for the pain and swelling ,I'm still swollen now but taking my meds hoping it will go down soon....please guys don't ever buy this product you will regret it
