After sending in our application with our CONFIDENTIAL documents, we were ghosted by Louis. I sent an email requesting an explanation but received no reply. This after he told us he's very honest and upfront with his clients...total BS. How are they still in business? And reading all the reviews on Hellopeter, made us happy that we did not get the unit we wanted. If we strive for better service, we must be able to GIVE the best service.

Rize Property Professionals: Cobus van Wyk, the owner & his agent, Lenn du Preez are the biggest crooks Beware of this so-called estate agency. I am a neighbor living in the vicinity of Cussonia drive in Val de Grace in Pretoria, Gauteng. We have been disturbed for quite awhile now by noise and various other unsavory activities that have been taking place at house number 78 Cussonia drive, Val de Grace, Pretoria; which according to the City of Tshwane's records; André du Preez of Andre du Preez Architects is the owner. Further investigation revealed that the property is managed by a letting agency called Rize Property Professionals, located at 478 Rossouw street, Pretoria; owned by Wynand Steyn & Cobus van Wyk. According to the PPRA Cobus van Wyk is not a registered estate agent even though Rize advertises that he is. According to the advertising board outside of the property at 78 Cussonia drive, Val de Grace, Pretoria; it is the premises of "The Boardroom", but after months of observation, myself and various other neighbors have noticed that it is everything but boardroom meetings that are being held on that property. Further investigation revealed that the tenant of 78 Cussonia is a Fred Olivier who also works as an estate agent for Keller Williams Prime. From early mornings until late at night various men enter and exit the property. This might seem "normal" and harmless, but that image quickly changes when you walk and drive past this property on a daily basis. On Saturday, 08 October 2022 just about after 12:00 in the afternoon I was walking past as I do daily with my dog when I noticed that there were only partially dressed men walking around the front yard of the property and they were dressed in some very colorful "underwear". The entire front yard as well as the area outside of the pavement was fully parked with cars and I only saw men, not one female. Most men were middle aged with the exception of the younger boys that were only partially dressed and only wearing underpants. I observed a Mercedes that was parked inside of the property and a middle aged man and two of the young boys that were half naked were unpacking a very large number of various alcoholic beverages, some were sealed boxes of alcohol and carrying it into the house. This was being carried into house number 78 Cussonia. I walked home, which is just around the corner and I could hear extremely loud music playing from house number 78. Later, I discovered that there was a tent put up in the yard and further investigation revealed that "The Boardroom" is an alias for a place called "The Teelplaas" - a place where gay men come to party according to the Boardroom's own Facebook page… After reporting this to both Rize property professionals as well as the owners on the 31st of October 2022 nothing was done and just last week Wednesday I walked past the house and saw a young man without a shirt walking one of the customers to his car. It is quite evident that here is a cover up. It looks like the rental agents, owners and tenants are working together and maybe sharing in the proceeds of the "business". I don't think that anything more needs to be said at this point. The photos and Facebook ads speak for themselves. I am renting a property in Pretoria through property agent Louis Pfuhl at Rize Property Professionals since 28 December 2020. In accordance to the rental agreement, the said agent was furnished with a snag list of existing issues of the property. This list was rather extensive. The only problem which was corrected, was the oven plug which was faulty and dangerous to use. The garden was a mess and had to be cleaned and cleared at my own cost (R1800) for which I have not been reimbursed nor has the amount been deducted from my rent. I have emailed the agent on several occasions, enquiring about the snag list as one of the main issues on the list included leaking taps in the shower, the lack of a shower grille (which could lead to drain blockages), other basin taps which do not work etc. The last email I sent to Louis Pfuhl was on 9 February 2021 to which he responded on the 11th of February, promising to revert to me on the list of issues. To date I have not had the courtesy of a reply, nor has the leaking taps been replaced/fixed. I am not prepared to incur further costs as I do not get reimbursed or offered a deduction in my rent. My rent is paid in full, to date, I have cleaned the garden, planted grass, replaced missing light bulbs etc, at my own costs and have been informed by the agent, that I am not allowed to make corrections or replacements without prior consent of the owner. As such, I am not willing to have the taps replaced at my own costs and since the last correspondence with the agent, I have not heard anything from him apart from the last empty promise to revert to me regarding the issues. The leaking taps are not just an annoyance, but an expensive one at that. I will never recommend Rize Property Professionals as they are certainly not concerned with the tenants of their properties and do not appreciate good, honourable, tenants when they have them. As a matter of principle I will inform any prospective tenant who is interested in renting this property after me, that they should rather make use of another agency and should also not rent from this owner.

I have been a client with Rize in 2020. At the beginning of our contract, the service was great - my agent Lenn even asked that I leave a good review. However, the service was only good before signing the contract, after that, it was the worst experience ever. For instance were living in a flat with a broken bath tap which resulted in us being unable to use the bath tub. Our agent never responded to my messages, ignored my calls and emails too when I requested to speak to him. He had endless excuses, claiming that his laptop crashed and he lost all emails I had been sending, he also said he had a lot of work to do but never attended to me. He never returned my calls too. The only time he spoke to me was when he needed something from me like arranging a viewing for a new client. His bosses have never attempted to intervene. These issues continued until the end of our term. On top of everything, money that was never agreed on was deducted from our deposit. I would never recommend Rize because of its horrific customer service, they are disorganized, dishonest and clearly impossible to get a hold of, even as an existing client.

Absolutely amazing service from Lenn Du Preez. He has gone the extra mile. We bought the flat during lockdown and did not even view the place. He made life so much easier and better. We have moved in. He had the carpets changed, painted the place out. Wow amazing. He also helped with the incompenance of Eastern Region Properties. Opened the gate for us during all hours. What an amazing service. Thank you Lenn

I have only good things to say about Rize Property Professionals. Lenn is a superstar. I have never met anyone with more determination to find the right tenant. These guys take their job serious, they make recommendations that are in the best interest of their client, even if it is to their own detriment in the form of short term revenue lost. Thank you Lenn and Rize for looking after my property and providing reliable tenants.
