Worst service ever received and customer care via facebook is just as useless as the hair dresser that was late for an appointment that was pre booked if I might add, then when paying I noticed the price was incorrect only to find out they did not do the treatment that was booked and when ask I was told "next time" !!!!!!😡😡🤬😡 The so called care line request contact information just to never get back to you absolutely pathetic!!!!! Then the cherry they don't have a direct email probably because they would never be able to keep up with the complaints

After a horrible hair incident that turned out nothing like I’d expected, I decided to visit Rolf Offerman in Westville in person to show them and plead for a consultation with Daniela, whose work I had admired on Instagram. Unfortunately, I couldn’t secure an appointment with her initially while I was on holiday in Durban and had to resort to someone I had gone to six years ago. This time, however, it resulted in a hair disaster - I wanted dark brown balyage and paid the price for it but ended up with streaky blond hair that had shades of green TEN HOURS LATER. It was terrible, and I was not happy at all. Daniela was incredibly sympathetic to my situation. After a thorough and detailed consultation, she helped me wash out the horrid green tones the very next day. I enjoyed a nice massage at the hair basin, and she polished my haircut beautifully. I felt a thousand times better after my visit with her, and I now have a follow-up appointment scheduled to correct the color once my hair has had enough time to recover from the chemicals. I highly recommend Rolf Offerman - their service is truly exceptional!

i went into the salon and was cut by their receptionist. i asked for a fade and trim on top with texture, she proceeded to cut most of my hair off without texturing anything, an uneven fade that looks different on either side, pieces on the side that are longer than my fringe, it is blended terribly and the fringe isn’t even straight or the same length. it is a costly place for just a men’s haircut and they’ve left with the most atrocious haircut i have EVER received.

I have been a client of Rolff Offerman for just over 10 years now. The senior hairdresser, @Genien Chinnapien is more than just an excellent hairdresser. She has become a special friend to me because she always goes out of her way to make me feel wonderful. Ask any lady; when you feeling down, the best therapy is having your hair treated and styled. Genien truly is a gifted, professional and personalized hairdresser and is a huge asset to the Umhlanga Rocks branch. I want to commend Genien for her excellence; sparkling with a personal touch. Mention must also be made for the whole team at this branch in Umhlanga Rocks. The vibe is always a happy and positive experience.

Let me start off by saying that a lot of reviews say that the service here is great because they so readily accept walk-ins, but I think what we're seeing is actually how bad the service here is. Why else is everyone fully booked and they're empty? Could it perhaps have something to do with the cattiness and bad attitudes of the staff members? I must have done something horribly wrong in a past life to be treated the way I was yesterday. I was greeted at reception (which is the bare minimum), but after that I was on my own as the receptionist Adelene was more interested in chatting to her friend. There was no one to take me to the basins, show me where to sit etc. The hair wash began and what is supposed to be a relaxing part of getting your hair washed at a salon quickly turned sour as the shampooist used cold water on my head, which then somehow dropped down my back, wetting my clothes. My shampooist was then changed but by this stage I was already horrified. I asked the new shampooist if this is the norm here and she said no-so I wonder, what sets me apart from the rest? When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the manager and asked why I seem to be the only one receiving this sub par treatment, all her staff were snickering and scoffing, and all I got from the receptionist was a disingenuous "okay, sorry then". Mind you, this apology took place while she was eating a packet of Nik naks in the salon, while talking to a dissatisfied customer. When I called her out on her attitude, Adelene responded with, "well I don't know what you want me to say, I already said sorry." I laid a complaint with their regional manager and then finally, proceeded to get my hair cut and dried. But this is where things get interesting-because after I'd left the receptionist then sought me out on social media, and then proceeded to mock me by quoting the things I had said. So because an employee got called out for their bad attitude, it then makes it okay for her to try to intimidate me through cyber bullying? Ultimately, she needs to check her attitude instead of then trying to harass a paying customer. BEWARE THIS PLACE. I was given a travel sized shampoo as a gesture of goodwill, but the reception is seeking me out to do god knows what far outweighs a little shampoo. I sincerely hope that something is done about this as this kind of behaviour is seriously tarnishing the good name of Rolf Offerman

Pity I have to click a star as they don't deserve one! Worst experience ever!!! Can't even get a simple root dye and cut right. Would not recommend any one to go there. Some good advice- Stay Away!

Nancy Singh amazing hairdresser at the gateway branch - one who looks after her clients even when I was in jnb - still messaged all her specials checked up on me - when I go to her my hair is cut to perfection And she provides me with the best hair advice - I’m happy to use her - she is value for money and please support her as you will find a reliable Professional who is so humble and excellent
