Thehotel offers a good view of Saldanha Bay. But that is where it stops. The resturant is sub-par and has no interest in helping culinary requests e.g. replacing high carbs such as chips with a salad or vegetables. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. I would suggest you look for alternative accommodation.

I travel a lot but this was my first to Saldanha. Initially all seemed well until... 1. I received a municipal traffic ticket for parking on the hotel's "allocated" space by the road. Parking is obviously a problem if you come back late. 2. I took my wife along. So I had to pay extra for her accommodation and pay another extra for all her meals including breakfast 3. They had a promo to get 60% off "all meals" on your birthday or birthday month. When I went to claim that, they brought up EXCUSES why I cannot get the discount. 4. Staff and supervisors DO NOT CARE about guests only about how much MONEY they can ****** from you. A staff threatened to call security on me when I complained. 5. All together it was a BAD experience. Please DO NOT STAY THERE

This is the worst place to ever stay at. The theme of this place is to **** up as much as possible during your stay. I had an anniversary booked with the planner and they even provided a mock up of how it is going to look. When it finally arrived i get something completely different. Cupcakes instead of a cake which on the mock said 1st and yet somehow the balloons i got said the 10th. We also waited a hour for a gin tasting to which they finally said they had forgotten about us. The one morning the breakfast buffet was almost completely out of food. The birds are eating the scones provided to the guests. Oh there is also bed bugs in their beds and random fire alarms that go off to which they do not even check in to see if we are ok. They also gave us a room which smells of smoke and was not cleaned and then moved us to a bigger room next to a venue they had a party planned for. So yes very little sleep as well and not in the good way. All and all a horrible experience and a lot of money wasted, but hey atleast i got a ****ing R400 petrol card to last me the trip home for all their mistakes.

Upon arrival, our room (104) reeked of siggarette smoke, we decided to open the windows and head for dinner. After dinner, we went back to shower and put our son to bed. Both the shower's drain and the basin's were blocked. I unclogged both by removing copious amounts of black hair from both. After putting my son to bed, we went to lay on our bed just to realise we are both laying downhill. We decide to turn the mattress thinking it might just be worn-out, but soon realised that the base was actually broken. We spent our first night on the floor, on the mattress. At 10pm we both started itching realising we might be dealing with bed bugs. If that wasn't enough, the entire night there were motorcycles and cars racing up and down the street and for some reason housekeeping thought it was a good idea to do washing at 11pm. The laundrette was 5m from our room's door. This morning we hoped that breakfast will make up for all that, but the stale croissants, 2 slices of bacon and 1 runny egg sure didn't. This was as much as I could handle for what we've paid for and decided to head back home covered in byte marks. This place should be inspected and shutdown.

I stayed at this hotel for many years growing up. and on the 19 March to 22 March with my whole family. We had booked 9 rooms and was so missed treated it was not even funny. I had to receive a refund on my stay as we cancelled two rooms. I am yet to receive this. I was first told by Elrika the manager that i will be refund on check out. This never happended. Then I was told i will be refunded end of March. Never was. After emailing back and forth with the hotel was told i would be refunded in the amount of R 8 826.76 on the 15 April 2021. I still have not been paid. I don't know what to do anymore to get my money from the hotel. I have requested again for feedback on this matter and on the 16 April was just told they will follow up but still to date have received no feedback. This is becoming crazy that i have to fight like this for my own money.

This was the first time of staying many times at the hotel that i received the treatment that i did. We were a target from the begin of our stay as we where a big group. we got billed wrong amounts and they still owe me money for billing me incorrectly. I received better service and treatment when they were under the protea group of hotels. I am sadden by the way they treated me and my family.

This was the first time of staying many times at the hotel that i received the treatment that i did. We were a target from the begin of our stay as we where a big group. we got billed wrong amounts and they still owe me money for billing me incorrectly. I received better service and treatment when they were under the protea group of hotels. I am sadden by the way they treated me and my family.
