I have been a client of Sambakoop for more than 10 years and have never had a problem with them but this changed in February 2026, an unauthorised transaction from WetHealth Animal Clinic Bloemfontein went through on my Samba card for R3000, I immediately contacted Sambakoop about this and they phoned me back the the next morning only to inform me that they will not be doing anything to assist me and that I would have to contact VetHealth animal Clinic myself! I don't want anything to do with them and are certainly not going to beg them for the money back! If someone can authorise a transaction on my Samba card without my knowledge and without my consent what else can they do?! I will never trust Samba again!

Ek is teleurgesteld in Sambakoop Bloemfontein en sal niemand aanbeveel om met hulle te deel nie. Eers het my begrafnispolis wat ek vir baie jare by hulle gehad het, weggeraak en moes n ander een uitgeneem word. Jare se bydraes het verlore gegaan. Niemand wou of kon rekenskap daarvoor gee nie. Ek het onlangs my kaarte gekanselleer aangesien ek op aftree ouderdom is en op ****ant basis wil werk. Net om uit te vind samba het nou n mamba geword. Hul hef skielik n jaarlikse fooi van R336 omdat ek nie kaarte het beskou hul mens klaarblyklik as nie lede. Samba hou geen voordele vir ouer mense in nie. Sodra jy besluit om hul kaarte te kanselleer. Daai kaarte is ook n belaglike prys per jaar. Of jy betaal vir kaarte of n admin fooi, ****antfooi en rente. Vir wat die fooi en rente gehef word het hulle nie n antwoord nie. Bly weg van Mr Mamba. Kry n begrafnis polis en versekering direk. Vir my begrafnispolis en versekering wat kamtig deur samba gedoen word kos dit mens n addisionele bedrag van byna R400 per jaar. Dit is meer as die sodanige af**** wat mens op hul versekering kry. WORST TREATMENT EVER.....My wife has been with Samba for years and years, never skipped a payment, had numerous loans which were all paid back without skipping a payment AND SUDDENLY, A WEEK AGO, she applied for a 30k loan and was treated like a criminal. I have always been a keen SAMBA supporter but after this ordeal and a VERY RUDE LADY AND PHONE CALL, think they are the biggest bunch of idiots on the face of the earth. Her loan was approved and when se walked into their offices to sign, a *****y lady by the name of HESTER PRETORIUS came to my wife with an attitude telling her the loan cannot be approved for whatever ridiculous reason. She was even told that her R3000 credit facility is cancelled with immediate effect AND please dont buy anything further with the card! F*cken shame on you for trating my wife like this. My wife were even told to hand in her cards immediately or destroy them and send a picture that the cards were destroyed......idiots.....after more than 15 years plus, not skipping any payments or loan repayments.... Samba you are a disgrace to mankind and the way you treat your customers.... My wife phoned het bank after walking out and 15 min later, after a phone call, not even handing in heaps of papers had the money in het account but according to QUEEN PRETORIUS, she does not qualify....frikken idiot.....SAMBA NEVER AGAIN.....STAY AWAY FROM THE COLD HEARTED IDIOTS....

There's a national slogan "How can we assist you?" Samba Buy Aid in PE. could well use this. I went to their local branch in PE. to try and solve a recurring problem. Marlese was the Receptionist. With a sincere friendly approach asked if she was able to assist. I related to her the annoying problem. After carefully uninterrupted listening, She asked for my Buy Aid details. Upon putting said information into the computer she addressed the problem. Explaining that the problem is however not with Samba. Knowing and understanding that I'm a Senior Citizen, she explained slowly and distinctly, how I could solve this problem. I too asked her about the note forwarded about customers wanting to update. I told her that I was interested in it. Thanks, Marlese for your care when dealing with Seniors you make solving issues "painless" and pleasant. Rene, from another dept. , come forward and told me that there wasn't any problem with my upgrade and that I'll receive an official confirmation shortly, however, should I wish to apply the new upgrade immediately, she'll be only too glad to assist. All needed attention done with pleasantness and friendliness. What a pleasure to have to deal with such staff. Thank You.

I have been busy with Samba/Santam for the last week just trying to get a quote and cover. I have been waiting for them so that I can actually buy the car I ordered. Every time that you get to talk to a consultant (because they take 2hrs to get back to you) then they give you new forms/comments that they didn't tell you earlier. Many of the things I get questioned I can't even find on the forms to answer. Everyone in my family is on Santam and with Samba and I have only had great experiences before this. Too bad that they are losing my contribution. Very disappointed.

<p>I sent Samba an email in April requesting to cancel membership as I have moved, but in November they sent me a statement again and added a yearly fee. I will not pay this. I sent another email in November and they replied that someone will contact me, but still no one has contacted me and now they have added interest to that amount. Can someone please sort this out? </p>
