Before the lockdown I sent my bakkie in for aircon repairs , the bakkie was left there for more than a day and the job was not finished. The owner Dexter appologised to me for the inconveniences and assured me that after the lockdown they will call me as they needed to order to rings . I have been trying to call him for the past two days as I received no calls from the team and I called last week and was advised to call this week. He is not answering my calls and my vehicle is left with a job half complete

I purchased a Ghost Alarm from Soundlab Chatsworth about May/June 2019. I broke down on Tuesday 19 November. After contacting Soundlab was told "did you put in tbe right code". Took them an hour an a half before technician.arrived. He found that a wire was loose in the alarm. He removed the alarm and said I must go to Soundlab to get it fitted properly the next day. Please note that wires were hanging down abd dash wad left open. I went and again was told by the owner, Dex to wait. This is the norm when I go to Soundlab, hurry up and wait. After waiting 30 minutes, I found out that Dex had left the premises without assisting me (not the first time either). Sent Dex whatsapp messages of which he says I must "bare" with him as he is hectic. It is now Tuesday 26 November and still no response from Dex so I am still driving around with wires hanging from my dash. Their after service sucks or maybe it is because I am a woman.

I installed a StarSound Amp in my vehicle and 12\ Subwoofer in my grey POLO Vivo and it had interference noise.<br> I took my vehicle to Soundlab after calling in the morning and they said i should come at 2pm i arrived there and talked to a short coloured guy<br> and said will help me after he is done. i waited a whole f***en hour there and told me he cant help me because it is too late after waiting an hour and said i must come in tomrrow.<br> I try calling in and everytime i want to talkt ohim he is in the toilet. Those assholes are racist and think becuase i am black i cant pay them to fix my sound system. Stupid F****en asshole. <br> i will never recommend anyone to come to visit your store u racist assholes. Bunch of racist pigs. i wish your store breaks down and you burn with it."

Had my car booked in for a frontloader installation. On arrival for the specified time I was told to come back an hour later. After returning I was kept waiting for a further half hour. I was then told again to come back later after their call. I left my number and waited for that call... which never came. Returned to the store on my way home and it was closed early.<br> <br> Disappointing and frustrating service (or lack thereof). Wasted half my day and a lot of petrol - all for nothing!

My son took his car to sound lab to Regas the air con. We were told there is a leak to. The technicians told us R150 for repairs did not make mention that he is testing the Air con. In my presence and my husbands he told us R150 to put dye and find leak only to find out AFTER the test that he charged R150 for a y minute test. He takes the money and in his pocket if goes. Such rogue companies but be exposed. You are left with no choice but to pay the idiot.<br> <br> Will be going on all social media with this am sure he scamed other people in this manner

After being messed around by another car installer I was referred to Shaun from soundlab, went to see him when Dex who brags on about his 27 years of sound experience came with his suggestions which later was a load of crap. The guy absolutely knows nothing about sound installation but is brilliant at bullshitting you and making you pay for stuff you don't need. His staff stole from my car, made scratches all over and damaged many parts of the interior. They don't care about their customers vehicles. Take my advice and avoid them at all costs. Do as much research as possible before doing any sound installation. I am still paying for all the mess ups they made to my car. And if you plan on purchasing a battery from them, make sure it is not second hand. Make sure you find out prices, I over paid for mine through them.

The guy absolutely knows nothing about sound installation but is brilliant at bullshitting you and making you pay for stuff you don't need. His staff stole from my car, made scratches all over and damaged many parts of the interior. They don't care about their customers vehicles. Take my advice and avoid them at all costs. Do as much research as possible before doing any sound installation. I am still paying for all the mess ups they made to my car. And if you plan on purchasing a battery from them, make sure it is not second hand. Make sure you find out prices, I over paid for mine through them.
