Stillness Manor Estate & Spa I wouldn't even give this establishment a 1 star rating! Upon calling and booking an appointment for the full spa day treatment, I specifically asked for a breakdown of the day and it was explained very differently to what had really transpired..some treatments were not even done. Pedicure nail polish smudged and peeling by the evening. I was told that the half of the treatments were to be done up until 12 after which a light lunch would be served by the pool area followed by the remaining treatments as it was too long to squeeze in before lunch & that the other amenities could be used thereafter. Had I been accurately informed that all the treatments would take place in 3hrs and then the next 3 hrs would be followed by the free amenities of the venue I would have rather booked a 3hr session of treatments and not the illusion of a full day! This is very misleading and leaves a bitter taste in my mouth regarding Stillness Manor Spa as a whole . It's one month later and countless emails and calls with no response from the general manager who just ignores my calls and emails. I was promised a refund and still awaiting this. Poor management with no customer after sale service. Add the cherry on top , the spa was dusty and full of ants. Not very relaxing at all. The local spas in the area provided better service than this at a fraction of the price

This is absolutely the worst spa to ever go to... avoid at all costs! There was no hot water, the sauna is broken and staff have a "oh well, what can we do" look on their faces. I had to leave after 5 min because I literally had nothing else to do, as nothing was working. Staff were like "ok bye". The place is really beautiful, but with really bad service, so am guessing that this is one of those places that have really gone down in recent years.

I booked a spa appointment more than 2 weeks in advance. I was told on the day that they don’t have my appointment and the are fully booked for the day. I had to drive from Cape Town and had no warning that my appointment was cancelled. This is unprofessional and disappointing.

Hi. just a little grumble about how the facilities at the spa are not what they used to be. i specifically liked making use of the sauna while using the spa and have noticed that you had to ask each time now for it to be switched on. this i don's mind to much as its saving electricity but after asking for it to be switched on and them waiting 15 min for it to heat up, i get to an ice cold rom with the light burning. when telling the lady that the room never got hot, i got met with a "Oh" and that's where it ended. anyway my 2c said. cheers morten

My friend was given a gift voucher for Stillness Manor Spa in Tokai. She then booked an appointment on this voucher, and went to redeem it. On arrival she was told that the company was "the voucher was issued under previous management, and since it was now under new management they would not honour the voucher".

What are our legal rights in this situation? We have experienced this before, being told that the company "is now under new management", when we have payed a large sum of money for this particular voucher.
