Bad service and very unhygienic
I have a huge love for biltong and every now and then I spoil myself and buy my biltong specially at Boer en Butcher. Yesterday I was there and had to stand at the front table for a while before I could be helped. Someone came to help me and was quite quick and with his bare hands he weighed the biltong and put it in the bag. I asked him where his gloves were and that it was a bit unhygienic to which he then very rudely rep**** to me that they don't have gloves and are still waiting for them. It put me off completely and I will now have to drive a little further for my biltong , Joeys just around the corner. I reached out to the company but it looks like they are not really bothered.

The Boer and Butcher Haxendal - Wrotten meat!
The butchery consistently emits a strong odor of rotten meat. This is not an isolated incident but an ongoing issue that has also been raised by other customers. Such conditions are unacceptable and need immediate attention to ensure proper hygiene and customer safety. I actually bought a butt last week to prepare for the weekend. During our visit it smelled so bad that I took it to the staff and 4 waiters agreed that the meat was rotten. I had to come get my refund the next day.

Disappointing Service on a Special Day
We chose this restaurant in Haasendal for Mother’s Day lunch, but the experience was ruined by being rushed throughout the meal. Our waitress repeatedly asked if we were done and offered to pack our food—while we were still eating—because her shift was ending. After paying, we were told by a new waitress to leave for a 4 p.m. reservation, though we were never informed of any time limit. Dining out should be a full, enjoyable experience—not one where guests are pushed out. Disappointing to see such disregard for customer service.

Ons het onlangs ons speserye by een van hul takke geplaas en die ervaring was besonders positief. 'n Spesiale woord van dank aan Johan, Bestuurder by die Boston tak– jou vriendelike en professionele diens het 'n groot indruk gemaak. Jy het ons dadelik welkom laat voel en was uiters behulpsaam deur die hele proses. Dis lekker om met iemand te werk wat duidelik passie het vir wat hy doen. Dankie, Boer & Butcher, en veral vir Johan, vir 'n puik ervaring

Bad service received at The Boer and Butcher Haasendal
We went to Boer and Butcher Haasendal last night,our night were supposed to be a celebration, however it turned out to be the total opposite.We arrived at the restaurant at 18:30.Prior to this,I have made a reservation the morning already.We were not welcomed to our table and staff were not friendly at all upon arrival. Our waiter Thomas came to take our order for drinks,I must say he was the only one that was friendly.Our drinks arrived, however the beers were not cold and tasted as if it's expired.We informed the staff,and a lady named Marlene arrived at our table.This was the same lady that came to ask if she can take our menus on the table,because they were running short on menus! Marlene told a lady at the table that she cannot change her beer, because she drank already to much of it,but the way she said this was somewhat upsetting!After the drinks,we ordered food,but our food only arrived before 9.Our kids were hungry and there were just no act of urgency among the staff.One lady came to our table more than an hour later to apologize as they were short staff the evening.Why was this not mentioned when we arrived at the restaurant that the waiting time will be longer due to staff issues?By 20:30 we haven't yet received our starters of which we have order more than an hour ago, we informed the waiter to cancel the starters as this was meant to arrive at the table before our Main meals.Very unhappy with the service received!!

Bad service received at The Boer and Butcher Haasendal
